Hi Paul,
Is it necessary to separate all of these the thoughts, words, images, voices that just mingle in a never ending loop?
No it's not, their mingling just makes it harder to identify them if that's what was needed. I guess it wasn't.
Can it be possible that this is just what is happening?
Yes, everything is what is just happening.
You recognise the little voice as being Stacy, this is good, is it necessary to believe these thoughts?
No and in fact it's best not to, haha.
Is it necessary to hold on to the story that the little Stacy narrates as the truth?
Definitely not necessary but that's the trap that seems to be hard to get out of. I am starting to see DE is the way out of that, I'm just not seeing how.
Is little story teller Stacy really never ending, or does it just appear that way?
She does go quiet occasionally for a few seconds, and when I sleep.
What about in those Gaps where is little Stacy?
She appears to cease to exist but waiting in the wings, ready to reappear a split second after the gap.
Can you find her in the Gaps can you find her in the silence
No, she's not there - and it is a welcome relief, just short-lived.
or is the silence just happening?
It is always just happening, even under Stacy's jibber jabber.
Is Stacy's narrative, little voice, images, words, just happening?
Big aha here! Yes, of course that is all just happening too.
So is it necessary to see past the thoughts?
Maybe past isn't the right word, more like through the thoughts - to the truth, whatever that may be because I'm still not sure what we are after here.
Can you find a thought that you can see past if you could see past it?
No, it is the concept the thought is about that I think I am trying to see past.
Where is this thought that needs to be seen past?
It is just happening, gone as soon as it has arisen.
Are there any thoughts that can be seen past?
When you put it like that, no, of course not.
What if I told you that it is impossible to see past a thought?
I would agree with that now that I am looking at thoughts differently.
What comes up when you read this?
That thoughts are these invisible nothings that come and go yet keep me blinded and trapped in a prison that doesn't even really exist. I want to just go "poof" to the thoughts so they will stop keeping me trapped.
