Beautiful.
What is here to be explored now together?
Can you find an inherent self anywhere, outside of thought?
Much love,
Becca

Thanks so much,
If I say "penny hasn't dropped yet" - is it just a thought? And doesnt mean anything?
Much gratitude

Re: Seeker
It is AND clear seeing will be obvious:
There is no separate self at all, never was, never will be.
Going through the day, notice when/where there is a ‘sense’ of self. Tell me what is found.

Re: Seeker
Hi Becca,
The sense of self is felt in chest or behind forehead. When I notice and ask qs is that who I am, I know its just feeling or sensations not me and it disappears but it keeps popping back up especially when I am in the middle of a busy day.
It feels frustrating that even after knowing and seeing there is no me, the illusion still grasps me 😟
May be I havent seen it clearly enough.
Thank you

Who is this I who knows? Who interprets? Where is that one?I know its just feeling or sensations not me
Are you expecting that these sensation will disappear forever? That the illusion will stop popping up? Who is it that wants that? Look at the mechanism. Right now, as you read, what is actually here? Sensation. Maybe a contraction. Something labeled ‘frustration’ that is associated with a thought. Is any of it you? Or is it just sensation + thought labeled “me” or “not me”?
You can’t make self disappear—because it never existed, except as sensation + label + story.
What is here that is not a thought?
Drop the story about being on the way to something, and look: What is here, right now, if you don’t refer to any memory, any standard, any future goal?

Just awareness, nothing else.Drop the story about being on the way to something, and look: What is here, right now, if you don’t refer to any memory, any standard, any future goal?

Re: Seeker
“Being,” “sense of I am,” “presence,” “just awareness.” All are labels… picked up from somewhere, likely many somewheres, and pulled up when we get to where we are now. But the invitation is to look with precision.
What is actually here before any thought arises? Before even the label “presence”?
Don’t answer with a word or a concept… just see.
What remains if you don’t give it a name, don’t claim it as awareness, don’t call it anything at all?
Without any label, without any attempt to define—what is left?
Can you even say anything about it?
Who is left to say it?
Feel what happens when you let go of the need to call it anything at all.
What is the sensation, the experience, of not knowing?
Of not grasping even at “awareness”?

Hi Becca,
You are right, concepts are still prominent here. Trying to look deep. Will get back to you.
Thank you

Very good.
This is where many stop, since the terminology lines up so neatly with what has been read or heard about, but the invitation here is to keep going, keep looking! :)
