Hi, I forgot to mention I’m traveling. Looking a tiny bit but busy with life. I read the end of one of the pointings in the Gateless Gate book. Very inspiring and gives me hope that I can see through the label of I.

I am back home. Been very busy with work. Trying to look in free moments. What’s the best way to incorporate time for looking when I am very busy? Should I set aside time like I’m meditating or look in common activities? Any guidance would be helpful? Thank you so much!

Aloha,
Jazzmina

Hi Jazzmina,

For me, it would be first thing in the morning, at a lunch break, or last thing at night for regular practice. Then, in activities when you think of it & have a minute.

Can you see there's no "self" in Direct Experience?

Have you watched Pernille's videos on Doubt?

Wonderful! Thanks for the tips. I will attempt to look at all three of those intervals in the day. Thanks so much for checking in with me. Much appreciated!!

Jazzmina

I edited that & added a little more.

I haven't been looking much. So consumed with life stuff. Finding it hard to detach and spend time looking. To interested in the outside. I need to refocus on my inner looking.

Good morning,
I spent time looking this morning. I did the exercise from liberation unleashed book on page 23-25. I will try to do that one every morning. I’ll also see about listening to one of those tracks you had sent.

Thank you for your patience! Aloha, Jazzy

Hi

I don't have the book with me, but I'm sure that's fine.

Be open, relaxed & persistent. You're doing great.

Being persistent is hard for me when so much life stuff is going on. I’ve been tired this week but in moments I do try to remember to look through the sense doors and encourage seeing in that way.

Today I feel especially tired and looking seems so far off when I’m feeling this way.

Today I spent some time on The Awakening curriculum and watched the Fetter 1 lesson 1 video. It’s a lot of information. Can you guide me more closely? I feel like I’m a bit lost and don’t know what to do first.

I feel like I’m trapped in a world of thought. Thought after thought another thought. What else is there besides thought? Reality. But thought constantly pulls me away from reality.
