Seeing no connection between the hand moving and sensations. Will start on the 5th step after work.

Started on step 5, trying to notice the image from the mirror isn't a body or me. Not seeing that clearly yet

One thing to notice is that the image in the mirror is just blobs of color. Is there any intrinsic identity in those blobs? Or is identity just a thought?
SEE that it is impossible for a thought to refer to anything other than a thought.

Thanks Jeff will ask those questions. I must have caught something from the family as I fell sick last night so didn't get to the exercise. Will try to do some today depending how I go and will also look at the sensations of being unwell when I can.One thing to notice is that the image in the mirror is just blobs of color. I'm noticing the image in the mirror isn't me, still working on seeing it is not a body and just blobs of colour.

If you pay close attention, you may see that images are constantly arising from memory. Among these images are those labeled "body" but they are too tenuous to intrinsically signify "body" in the absence of a label.

Still continuing the step, have started paying close attention to noticing mental images as they arise during meditation as well.
