Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

Hi Delma

4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
I had been searching for a complecated finding. You had written that there is no I in the doing. It is just a language convention to talk about the moment from the past or the future in terms of thought. The idea a thought is ...

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

Hi Delma,

Sorry it took me so long to respond to questions. I have been reflecting over the emails we have exchanged. You really are amazing. I am not sure I appreciated that while we writing. So frustrating! I took the time to read your correspondance with a young man. At first I thought what ...

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

Delma
There has never been a me. I listened to a friend talk and all of a sudden I realized how absurd that something could fight with nothing. Than I saw it was all nothing.
Thank you,
Linda

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

Dear Delma,
There is no me so i cannot be at disagreement with an entity that also does not exist. Nothing controlling nothing.
There is nothing with a negative history that exists. There is a me here in this moment, one thought at a time in this moment. Yes, this is apparent deep.

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

Delma

quote="Delma"]It cannot exist in the way we think it does.

The self is normally thought of as an entity. First we compare it to a tangible entity to see whether it meets that criteria. Is the self tangible? If not, then what is it? How does it seem to exist?

I have already determined that ...

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

Delma
I remember the lesson. If it doesn't meet the criteria it cannot be tangible. It cannot exist. Is this right?

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

I didn't mean for it to be but I guess you're right. When I realize me is an illusion why does the mind keep trying to make me believe again. Do I need to keep reaffirming the is no tangible me?

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

I absolutely cannot locate a me or an I or a controller in or around Linda. What is this thing that wants Linda to be unhappy or to fail? Is this an illusion? If there is no I then who is fighting?

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

It keeps trying to sneak back in control. I look straight at the illusion and it disappears. Sometimes it takes over and I can be deep in the story before I realize where I am.

Delma,
Clearly my separate I was mean hostile and was not my friend. Life has always been right there. I just need to let it happen.

Re: Requesting Delma as a guide

Long ago I began not trusting that things could happen unless I made them happen. By seeing there was no real I doing this all the suffering vanished. I stopped taking diet pills and found I wasn't hungry or obsessed with food. Living includes knowing when and what to eat. First time since 15 years ...
