LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
I've been searching for 20+ years for that "self." Yet have found no evidence of it. Yet, "I" keep bumping into habit patterns, thoughts and beliefs that keep appearing over and over again that suggests that yes, there is a separate "self." Been meditating long enough to realize that "I" do not create thoughts. So who is creating those thoughts?

What are you looking for at LU?
I'm looking help to point me when I'm off course and help me stay on course. I'm sick and tired of the suffering and willing to follow the pathless path to realize that there is only one reality. I'm more than ready.

What do you expect from a guided conversation?
To call my on my BS and encourage me to investigate thoughts and beliefs that I have been overlooking. It's my habit to go it alone. I'm ready for a patient, wise mentor. I can meditate in the morning, but when I go about my day, I'm lost in the matrix.

What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I started out in Zen practice over 20 years ago, got discouraged and lost my way. I've been with a few teachers who, although, helpful, felt like I was wasting my time.
