LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
I understand this to be someone who asks questions that encourage self-enquiry. In the way that Ramana Maharshi or Sri Nisargadatta or any number of other people up the the present time who see the world from a non-dual state have and currently do.
What are you looking for at LU?
I have had instances where the sense of a self has fallen away completely. But the last time there was this seeing was in 2012 and ever since then the sense of a personal identity has remained. I am open the the possibility that working with a guide at L.U may bring about that falling away again. And perhaps permanently.
What do you expect from a guided conversation? To be reminded of that which has already been seen. But is currently only recalled by a self as a memory. To be brought get back to relevant questions when I am becoming embroiled in the story of my life.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I have practised yoga and meditation on and off for about 10 years. I currently practise both. Though I am conscious of those who say practises only fed the notion of a separate self. So sometimes I turn away from practices like these and simply ask myself where the 'i' that I am is.
I also cannot confidently say I feel any of the practices I've done brought about tn fall g away of the self that happened previously.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?

Re: Seeking
Hi Matt. I am an LU guide and am available to you for this inquiry now. I’m sorry you have had a long wait - demand is high at present. Let me know if you are ready to start.
