Can it be known how tall the body is?

No

Does the body have a weight or volume?

There is a sensation of weight and density in certain areas and very little in others.
There is no real sense of volume.

In the actual experience does the body have a shape or a form?

There is no shape or form

Is there a boundary between the body and the clothing?

There is some sensation in parts where the body meets the clothing but without thought adding a boundary, it is just sensation

Is there a boundary between the body and the chair?

No, just sensation

Is there an inside or an outside?

There is just sensation. Only thought creates inside and outside

What does the word/label ‘body’ ACTUALLY refer to?

All that is found is a field of sensation

There is a sense of expansion and freedom. Tho there is also a sense of surprise and confusion in the mind which comes with a sort of energetic contraction felt in the head and solar plexus of wanting to pull back into a definable shape. I am aware that the contraction denotes a lie. It feels very habitual

Can you say 100% that there's no separate "self?"

It's hard to answer this. When I follow the pointers and look directly it seems apparent that there is no separate self. And yet, it remains. The last few days, because life has felt difficult, I have felt completely identified with the separate self. Intellectually I can tell myself that that isn't the case but it has no weight. I can then end up in a battle about it which seems completely counterproductive so I just try to accept it. So the experience of 'no self' can be had, touched on, seen to some degree but doesn't seem to land.

This may be beyond the scope of what we are trying to do here but I think there is very strong resistance to wanting to see or accept that there is no separate self, by the self. It feels incredibly fearful, like life will fall apart, become meaningless, almost like the times of seeing through the self prompt it to grip even tighter. I'm not sure how to get beyond this.

Sometimes people do go into nihilism or maybe have a sense of meaninglessness. But that is why I guide. It's the only thing that has meaning for me anymore. I call it creating world peace one minded at a time. Can't get much more meaningful than that.

In fact it is actually very freeing.

There are a couple of videos about fear. Guidance that Ilona recorded. Do you want to see those?

There is nothing you can come up with that we haven't dealt with before. All you have to do is deal with the fear, deal with the expectations and keep looking.

If you're interested there are also a few groups on teleconference. Maybe some real-time interaction with people who are already seeing and other seekers would be helpful.

I'm glad to hear you've found a sense of meaning in guiding people.

I have joined on to Vince's group a couple of times. The timings are tricky here but it was good to hear other people talking about similar issues.

Otherwise I think I may take a step back from it for now as it's become to feel like something I "should" do which just generates resistance. I do get the sense that each time I go through a cycle of looking and questioning, something releases a bit more. But its also very easy for it to start to feel like a test or a chore, or something I'm failing to achieve, at which point it seems best to just let go of trying to do anything at all.

Right, it should not be a job or a chore or stressful. You must be relaxed in order to see. I suggest you at least try to go to the groups if you're not going to work here.

We have a couple of support groups that are meeting via teleconference and I'll give you the information on that.

There are 3 meetings. I believe The Times have changed and there may be more groups available.
