Where do you feel it is becoming intellectual understanding

I always thought the brain ruled that realm. Now I don't think so because of the "looking" . I really don't know. Putting all those thoughts that come and go into intellectual understanding is a process I don't understand. I feel that it is created somehow in the cosmos outside of my brain.

I know this wasn't a question but this little phrase struck a chord.I definitely have mind driven looking. Please let me know what you suggest to start looking at what is. Can you explain to me the concept behind looking at what is. It's confusing to me for some reason.

Oh, yes. That helps me a lot. I get that. Funny I've read a hundred books and listened to a hundred CD's and never got that. I don't listen or read those things anymore. They get in the way of my spiritual journey.

When i am present to those things there is no "I".

Just shift my awareness to now.

I just started playing with this awareness of the moment. I'll keep practicing and growing. I know this is just the beginning. There are teachings that take this awareness thing to a deeper understanding. This is the only place I know of that did what you do and actually had it work. Maybe this is all "I" need.
