Ok, Nettie
How wondrous to be free of the illusion of control! -
Is this a seeing that is something that must be continually remembered, is it always so once it is seen?
A 'oh no I might forget' is showing up

Your hands were never on the handlebars...,and they were never attached. - hummm, good word pic

It is a looking without expectation - love this, loveit, loveit ♥

Love you too,
Judy

Have you seen through the illusion of a separate self?
Are you ready for the final questions?

Here are the final questions:

1)Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?

2)Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.

3)How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

4)What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?

5)Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything happen? Give examples from your experience.

6)Anything to add?

1) looked & looked & it is not there, it was not ever there

2) illusion of separate self is a learned thing, believing the thought of 'I' makes it so, believing the story of 'I' makes it seem as if it
is telling the truth, it is a learned thing from a early stage in human existence & passed on as if 'it' is real.
An attachment to this 'I' creates stories & then there is an attachment to the stories as if this is true & and the stores seem to validate the 'I' existing as a separate entity.

As it is seen now, hard to describe what is, I can not seem to do this, 'it' just is, looking around seeing what was always there to see yet there is no sense of 'I' seeing or labeling, at least right now that is the best I can do lol

3) To see this is just normal, can't pinpoint any particular feeling except there is a lightness, nice to breathe this in & out though.
The seeker was always seeking, do not sense the seeker/seeking now. Before there was a sense of almost desperation & strain in trying to see, a frustration & then a relaxing and a 'whatever'.
Looking at the questions, especially the 'controller' one was frustrating, maddening actually, but kept going again to look, then giving up, like pfft, don't care, can't get 'it'!!!

4)The other night when playing solitaire on my phone, I saw that i could not 'control' the game or the outcome. It would happen as it did and then the 'no control/controller' was seen. I wasn't not looking at that time, just holding all the questions loosely & I started to see this & felt a difference in my seeing.

5) I do not choose or control events. Found out there is nothing that I can make happen. Last night riding in the car with my son who drives faster than I like, I saw that it did not matter the outcome, it would be as it is.
This am woke up with a freshness & no compulsion to 'do' anything in particular. Everything is the same as it always has been yet it all seems 'alive' in a easy sort of way.

6) So grateful to have found this, grateful to you Nettie, to this web site!!
To the hearts of those here who are so willing to give such beauty
for free lol ♥ ♥ ♥

Does it feel like you are awareness separate from perception?
Observer separate from the observed?
Or are they two aspects of the same thinging
Like wetness and water

Dear Judy,
'Is this a seeing that is something that must be continually remembered, is it always so once it is seen? A 'oh no I might forget' is showing up'
What 'I' could remember or forget this?
If the 'I' thought appears, is there something that could have stopped it from happening?

Love,
Nettie

Hi Nettie,
The 'I' that asked that question no longer exists, so fun ;o)))
there is no 'I' to remember or forget
There is nothing that can stop the 'I' in its traveling thru the thoughts
Love
Judy
