Hi Sarah,
Sorry for the late reply.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
No.
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
Separate self is belief. I don't know exactly when it starts, but as far as how it works - belief system, reinforced every day by more belief. In the previous answer I have written a little about inertia, some sort of momentum that the beliefs have; I would like to add this as well to the answer.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
The degrees of seeing through the illusion of self vary from more subtle nuances to more obvious/powerful/gross(not sure on the adjective here) ones.
For the past days since we haven't talked experiences ranged from what I would normally experience in the past, to some more shaking ones. I say ’shaking’ in the sense of powerful seeings. As an example me in a supermarket buying some stuff when bam - I was seeing everything emerging as one from nothing, in every moment everything was created, there was no time there was just now, there was nothing more than what is (‘was’).
The difference is that in the beginning of the dialog there was the belief that somebody ‘is home’, now it is seen that nobody is home - again, seeing varies from subtle to gross.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
For this I would like to refer, if its ok with you, to my previous answer: "I remember that realizing that the self if not my self, it is just "a self" was pretty big; i don't know why, but i had this thing looping through my mind for half a day, but I think that the thing that "pushed me over" was seeing that the self is just belief; past self is belief - thoughts. I also feel that having you Sarah, poking at my expectations helped a lot."
5) Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything happen? Give examples from your experience.
No. I consider good examples the things that we talked about in previous post -"Breathing is happening...do I breathe? No." - body, thoughts about things etc. Driving the car, playing on the computer, ideas at work - everything really.
All the best
