Hi Hugo,

I am participating in LU forum for almost one year since I put my first message - requesting for a guide in the same way you did - however I may say that LU was the last step for me, after many years of seeking.

So, are you British? Your name reminds me one of the most commons names here in my country.

Have you read the files that I suggested and agreed with everything?

Next I will post some further agreements we should make to keep our work focused in its objective, that is seeing through the illusion of a separate self.

Hi Hugo,

I don't think it is advisable, because many of the LU's methodology is based in exercises and investigations that are proposed to be done along the day, and what is observed in those exercises has to be processed and expressed to formulate conclusions. Besides, we are at different time zones, I can access Skype only when I am at home in the evening, and that time probably you have already gone to sleep.

So we have to use this forum to develop our investigations, OK?

Have you understood, these are the further recommendations we must follow to keep our work focused in its objective, please read carefully and answer again if you agree:

1. You agree to post at least once a day, even if i cannot reply daily. Things can shift and new insights can appear since you posted the last time.
2. I will make questions, which prompt your investigation and answers.
3. When you answer/report, please do it fully honestly,
4. When you do answer, please answer from direct experience (felt senses and observed thoughts). Long winded analytical and philosophical answers are not needed and may even hinder progress.
5. Put aside for a while all other teachings, philosophies and such for the remainder of this journey. Really put all your effort and attention in to seeing this reality, as it is.

The most important is #4. The work we'll do here can't be processed by analysis or philosophies, since the concepts we have in your minds are fully affected by our previous beliefs, and they are just what we'll question all the time.

Next, please briefly tell your previous experience, how did you reached this forum, and what are the expectations in this process (tell expectations in form of a list, if possible).
