Who was doing the claiming of these characteristics?

No who, just conditioned thoughts passing through. So is it best to recognize repeated behaviors and just acknowledge and accept them as they pass?

Can that be located?

If I identify with a thought, sensations can be felt.

Is there any sense remaining that these thoughts are caused by, arising to, or are about a “you”?

It seems a bit of a stuck point for now, though that doesn’t make sense since there is no ‘me’.

Are they in any way personal?

It will never make sense :)

That said, it will be stuck in this way as long as it is a thought that claims there is no me rather than a direct seeing.

Sitting in a room, curtains closed, you wonder what the weather is like outside. You can think about it, look it up on the internet, watch the forecast on TV, call your mother and ask her, ‘believe it may snow’ or you can simply open the curtains and have a look! :)

“I am” awareness experiencing and reflecting without boundary in communion with all that is.

“I am” ageless so would recognizing the face I had before I was born be seeing my true nature of spacious loving luminosity?

There is energy pulsing throughout my body. I hear ringing in my ears and the rhythm of my breath. My refrigerator just kicked in. I am hearing sounds more globally just now. I feel the contact of my feet, buttocks, back and arms against surfaces.

I see my ipad screen not clearly delineated from the backdrop of my room. It is 2D though my toe comes more in the foreground with attention. My hands come into focus and dimentionality as I look at them.

What is “hearing sounds more globally”? Where does sound appear?

Is the energy pulsing boundaried or confined by the outlines of the body in the space?

1. Close the eyes and hold up one hand. Pay attention only to the felt sensations ‘of the hand’.
2. Open the eyes, and now observe the hand by looking only.
3. While looking at the hand, pay attention to the felt sensations.

Repeat 1 to 3 as many times as needed and investigate…
Normally we believe that the sensation is coming from the sight, the ‘object’ seen (hand).
But if you look, is there any link between the sensation and the sight? In other words, is the sensation ‘coming from’ the sight (labelled as hand) or only thoughts and mental constructs link them?

Can you see that both the ‘visual sight’ and the sensation appear simultaneously but ‘separately’, meaning that none of them is coming from the other or contained by the other?
So they just appear equally, ‘beside’ each other without any hierarchy or link between them?
