Re: What IS Aware?
Take your... time. ;)
Time Pointer
There is a general assumption that there is linear time that started (if started at all) somewhere very far in the past and advances to the distant future. The present moment (now) is considered to be a very small fragment of time, or an event that is moving forward on a linear line, coming from the past and advancing to the future.
But is there an experience of the ’now’ moving along the line of time?
Any experience of one ‘moment’ giving way to the next?
Is there any actual or direct experience of one event following another?
How fast is the ‘present moment’ actually moving?
Just look at 'this moment', can you find a point where it began?
How long does the ‘now’ last?
Where does the ‘now’ start, and where does it end?
When does the ‘now’ exactly become the 'past'?
What is the ‘past’ in actual experience?
So is there actual experience of ‘time’ or thoughts about ‘time’?

Re: What IS Aware?
Answer from experience, not from thinking. We don't want philosophies. We want only to know if you've had a shift in perception & can clearly see there is no "self."
This does not take a lot of words.

Re: What IS Aware?
Hi Stacy
Another big day - it has been rich to be with these questions as I go about the past 3 days
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
No there is not, never has been, likely never will be (can’t know), as this me entity is an apparitional mind-story-matrix, habitually believed in for much of this life - now seen and met as fiction!
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
The illusion of separate self is a appearing intimately constructed matrix of thought-stories, habitually reinforced, added to, justified, defended, seemingly linked with a kind of software programming, to seem whelmingly real and supportive of a ME - it is self-supporting lie a snake eating its own tail and only ever looks at itself from within itself. It is like a trillion threads of vapour all interacting with each other to create a solid compound, so that it seems to maintain its apparent self-ness - pretending to be the real me, by ignoring experiential reality which is simply THIS, boundless awareness or “knowing” which is always present - cant find anything else as the real, certainly not the ME story or the world story or the others story…
I do not know exactly when the illusion of separate self started, or how - likely as the “logical” mind developed and thinking began to rule life.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
It feels great, raw, freeing, with feelings, sensations and thoughts arising, flowing in awareness and amazingly seeming to be “made” of being, as seen, like a kind of registering. Seeing this brings immediate ease, peace, openness and joy, even as all kinds of habitual thinking comes and goes, with variable content; questioning it, resisting it, negating it, and rather surprisingly of late, positively OK-ing it, haha, all the same and all of the same dream
The ease and contentedness felt in the past few days, since starting this dialogue, is immediate, palpable, predominantly ongoing, with little “glitches” of a thought catching, so a me/he is momentarily apparent, then seen, questioned, met gentlyt, almost humourously, like a mother with a wild child, and allowed its short life before vapourising
I have experienced a couple of relational interactions which previously would have caught me, troubled me, causing me to dive deeply into enquiry and wrestle with figuring it out - they were both easy, comfortable and even enjoyable, as what is happening, how it is, like seeing the “other” as same same, simply this happening and good!
Another joyful awareness is the sense that I am not planning, doing or completing anything - it happens or doesn’t and if not something else happens
Thoughts of time, come and go, often with little familiar body sensation of tightening, yet again seen as habitual thinking, currently not stressful AND noticing that time seems to be plentiful
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
I am not sure that there was a last bit, it simply seems like reality taking over what is happening (“inside and out”) - sense is that the lifetime of yearning, learning, being provoked, guided by amazing mentors and guides, met readiness and openness AND this dialogue, inviting deep looking, after reading “Liberation Unleashed” over the past month - it is so obvious that somehow the gate has been crashed, by who I dont know, and the journey goes on - a rich step, not sure, likely, happily being with what is?
5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Decision is now not really a thing, even though particular actions happen.
Today the outhouse, composting toilet I have been building, appeared almost suddenly, complete, with no knowing of how it got done, even as the process can be described - sweetly surreal as I smile and celebrate a great off-grid Loo, ready for use
Describe intention & give examples from experience.
Intention is also now not really a thing although subtle senses of vigilance to foster this reality appear - feels good
I cant find any examples currently of intending anything, I have to look hard to even know what it means, which seems absurd in the face of the old habits of wanting, thinking, plotting, planning…
Describe free will & give examples from experience.
Not sure what to make of free will - all simply seems to be happening as the mind, body moves and seems to do specific things, like the Loo above, or the dinner just eaten, or the tool temporarily lost today as it was “out of place” - funny
Describe choice & give examples from experience.
Similar to my free will answer - this experiencing is happening, all the while noting body turning left, right, picking things up or putting things down… no sense of choosing really
Describe control & give examples from experience.
Control seems like a mind-trip, an absurdity and a stressful notion at that - who would be or could be in control of any part of all-that-is, being as it is, happening
What makes things happen? How does it work?
I have no explanation for how things happen - they happen! How does it work is a great question, cant answer, reality just seems to work perfectly, cant possibly fathom or explain how or why?
What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
Intention
I am responsible for nothing and everything - there is no one to be responsible and yet it is clear that this aliveness seems to naturally express love, kindness, enjoys beauty, connecting, aligning, exploring…
6) Anything to add beckett
You asked me not to write a book, so for now nothing to add, as a lot is written above, noting that a book could happen, as the strong sense to share, support, nurture this knowing “here and there” when openings happen, could be a book
As beckett, at home, in love

Hi Bevkett,
Where are your Quote boxes that make it easier for guides to read?
Thank you for adding those.

Your answers are great.
When you have Quote boxes, your replies will be shared with other guides who may have questions.

Re: What IS Aware?
Hi and thanks Stacy
OK so I missed the guidance to use quote boxes
I was copying your questions in blue and answering in black, thinking that would work but I now see it is all black when pasted, so...
Just found and watched the video on quote boxes
To be clear, you would like all of your questions in quote boxes, yes?
Once you have confirmed I will edit to include them
Meanwhile I have sat with your great questions regarding TIME - very rich and so freeing to be with all your questions, so will respond to that set, later too
love, beckett

Hi
I don't see anything done but it has been reviewed without the quotes and nobody had any questions. Our conversation here is complete.

This is just a beginning.
There are some support meetings that might help:
Vince Shubert runs a few. Write to vinceschubert@gmail.com for the link & schedule.
Todd & Pernille Lent Damore
Yes, we still have a monthly Inquiry Group that's free, and that they are welcome to join. We also have our Discord community which is free too.

Thanks so much Stacy
As you say, a beautiful beginning, truly notice an upgrade as being, happening, including a couple of wonderful hurdles, arising to explore
Awareness is "it", so freeing knowing this!
Thank you, deeply heartfully for your support these past weeks, rich value noted!
All the very best to you!
As love, all-ways, beckett

Re: What IS Aware?
Indeed, what she says!
Is there a way to message Ilona directly on the site as I'd love to thank her for catalysing this deep step of the journey - her book "Liberation Unleashed" is likely the biggest "thing" in the myriad, infinitely unfathomable aspects of this re-turning here?
What is funny/perfect is that I had the book in my hands for a few months before diving into it, again the inexplicable "timing" of availability, eh?
