Yea, I can see that. My stomach area feels relaxed. Can you see that? What do you feel in your stomach area?

Yea, I can see that. My stomach area feels relaxed. Can you see that? What do you feel in your stomach area?
Can you now say 100% that there is no "self?"with the realisation there is no self no self to be found, the sensations of lightness, expansion, empty space. I continue bursting into exhales of loud sounds-laughter and the lightes of just being
Yes, I can see that there is no self and I can sense lightness and joy, and know this is true. Can you now say 100% that there is no "self?"
There’s nothing left to seek.Is there anything left to seek?
No, there is no separate entity, no 'self', 'me' or 'I'. It was never there.1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
The illusion of separate self is believing or identifying with the 'self' that doesn't exist, and from there acting ,protecting and defending that 'self' as if it really existed. It is believing that there is 'self' that is in control and makes decisions. The illusion starts when there is a thought 'I' and there is some importance given to it.2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
(I'm reporting from the past few exercises at there was a long gap) It feels freeing, it feels light and expansive, it feels like there is more ease. Before seeing this there was more tightness, attachment to how things should be and how I want my life to be, need for control and holding on to what I have. Now I feel sense of freedom to let things be how they are and be present to see clearly how they are rather than imposing my view and expectations on them.3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
The stress of need for control, and the tighness and heaviness of it.4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
There is a sense of a gentle surfacing of subtle energy which then appears in the mind as decision. Eg. I needed to buy a new laptop and I felt what feels light and good at every step, which brand in which shop , what payment option etc. when I arrived to all those elements coming together I felt a sense if lightness, gentle joy and spaciousness, the decision was clear to I confirmed the purchase.5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Intention felt like gentle sense of warmth and joy arising. There was an intention to get a new laptop, the sense of a pleasure of having device that's fast and easy to use, the sense of lightness and ease that came and the thought of new laptop.Describe intention & give examples from experience.
I needed to make a decision on ending a project. I could feel the truth of this, the lightness of knowing that this decision emerged over the time and the clarity of it by listening to what is true and what is false. There was also sadness, and attachment to what I have in that profect. I have a free will to decide if I'm going to follow the attachment and the heaviness that feels when I think of continuing or to choose the truth and the decision to end it.Describe free will & give examples from experience.
Choice is following one option from many available options. I've had a choice to take a bus or a train and different time and price options, the decision happened when I was looking at different options and felt more lightness with one of them. The decision happened and the choice was to folllow that decision.Describe choice & give examples from experience.
Control is a sense of forcefulness, of thoughts that are resisting what is and want to change it. Control comes from the believe in separate self, and it's needs that must be met. Eg. me wanting someone to be different then they are.Describe control & give examples from experience.
Things happen by itself, the move in a perfect flow with all other things in currents of connection and conditions. What makes things happen? How does it work?
I'm responsible for choosing to not to resist the truth and be in the flow of life that happens on it's own, without imposing my own expectations of it. I have free will to choose to follow it or not. What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
No.6) Anything to add?
Yes, I've reviewed the exercise now to see it more clearly.Do you remember the Palm Flipping pointer?
In direct experience, there is no decision-making point; the decision happens, and the palm is flipped without any thought process or decision from 'me'.do "we" really make decisions? Does free will exist in Direct Experience?
The qualities just appeared; I didn't really choose them. The preferences were just there, just emerged spontaneously. In step 1 when thinking about their respective qualities, did you ‘choose’ the qualities? Or did they kind of appear by themselves? If some preferences manifested, did you ‘choose’ these preferences? Or did they just pop up by themselves?
I just started counting, and the preferences naturally just kind of went to the back of the mind.In step 2 when you counted to 5, if the preferences took the back seat while the numbers took the front seat, did you ‘choose’ this sequence of event? Did you ‘choose’ to shut down the preferences to give way to the counting?
No, the choice was just there; it was just obvious, it didn't require any active choosing from me.Did you directly experience a mental function or faculty doing the ‘choosing’? Have you seen this function in action?
There was nothing that arose as a 'chooser', no one that made the choice, the choice was just there, the hand reached out and brought the cup to the mouth. In step 3 where you made a choice, did you actually witness or directly experience a mental function or faculty doing the ‘choosing’? Did anything arise that announced, ‘I am the chooser’? If so, what does this function look like?
Feeling can't choose, the 'feeling' I've described was an awareness of the choice, not what made the choice.Sometimes we describe this sense of choosing as a ‘feeling’ as you did: It feels like ‘I’ did the 'choosing’. But the question is, can a feeling ‘choose’? Is it in the nature of a feeling to 'choose’?
Decision is a spontaneous occurrence that is experienced, there is no one who makes the decision. Eg when I've seen an email informing me of your reply on the forum, I just reached out for my laptop to see and reply to the message. I've noticed thoughts questioning if this is a good time, but thoughts were just thoughts; the decision already happened.5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Intention arises spontaneously. I've had a lunch break at work, the intention to have something to eat arose, and then the decision to get up and go get lunch (action happened)Describe intention & give examples from experience.
Free will is an illusion that there is someone who makes decisions; there is no one and no free will.Describe free will & give examples from experience.
Choice arises spontaneously; we can make a pros and cons list, but that doesn't make a choice, choice is a natural and spontaneous sense of preference. Eg. to get lunch, I got up and walked to the cafe that I felt a preference towards.Describe choice & give examples from experience.
Control doesn't exist, we may have an illusory sense of control, but never real control. There is no one who is in control, things happen without any control. When I reach out for a cup of coffee, there is no one who controls the body to do that, it is a spontaneous action.Describe control & give examples from experience.
There is no one, no 'God' or 'self' that makes things happen; they occur spontaneously, without anyone deciding or choosing what is supposed to happen. Things occur by themselves. What makes things happen? How does it work?
If there is no one who makes the decision or choice, or who is in control, then there is no one who is responsible. I'm not responsible for anything, as everything occurs by itself. At this moment, I'm unable to give examples, I can't see that as my experience. I would appreciate your help with that. What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
