Yes, the truth indicator. Good LOOKING!
Can you now say 100% that there is no "self?" That it was all a thought-story?
If so, would you like to answer the "final" questions?
If not, what questions do you still have? This will all continue to settle for a long time.

yes 100% and it is so funny that I believed that this story is me.Can you now say 100% that there is no "self?" That it was all a thought-story?
Yes!!!If so, would you like to answer the "final" questions?
I really don't have any more questions. Mystery solved. Truth is known. If not, what questions do you still have? This will all continue to settle for a long time.

Excellent. It is pretty funny, isn't it?
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Describe intention & give examples from experience.
Describe free will & give examples from experience.
Describe choice & give examples from experience.
Describe control & give examples from experience.
What makes things happen? How does it work?
What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
6) Anything to add?

Re: Please help - looking for a guide
A big no. I can't find a self in my direct experience with any of my 5 senses. At the same time, I can't deny the fact that selfing happens. But, now I see through it.1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
The 5 senses + thoughts create the illusion of separate self. For example, I have not seen my face directly ever. Do I even a face? lol. I tried experimenting. Touched my face. I feel something, it is warm and soft. Inner voice tells me, it is your face. Is there a gap between my hand and face when touching? No, it is just one single feeling. The illusion is created with an imagined body/feelings/sensations/thoughts.2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
I feel so much lighter and spacious. While I was on the car yesterday(not driving) , I directly experienced that I don't have a body and the scenery is just passing through me/empty space.3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
I never paid attention to my body contractions before. The exercise "self is a lie" made me really look into what is happening in my body throughout the day. I think that helped.4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
Describe intention & give examples from experience.
Describe free will & give examples from experience.
Describe choice & give examples from experience.
Describe control & give examples from experience.
What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
- Intention is wanting something or planning for something in the future. I intent to go for a walk with my dog at 9am today. But, something comes up in between and the plan changes. Who originally wanted to go for a walk? Who changed the plan to something else? Looking deep into all of the events it all appears/happens in the now on its own. Planning happens. Plan changes happens. Heartache happens. Crying happens. Tears come out of the eyes. I don't know how I make tears. I don't know anything. I know I am using lots of "I" here. It is hard to write without using a subject.
- Free will is an illusion just like "selfing". There is nobody sitting an making choices. No choice maker. It all happens on its own for no reason. It is a mystery.
- Example: While typing this, the "I" wanted to postpone typing and go and have tea. Something said, No finish the typing. The dialogue is going on entire waking time. Who is asking to have tea and who is saying No to that. Who is signing up to the gym membership and saying don't go to gym today. Do I have a choice? Absolutely no. Do I make things happen? No. Am I responsible for any of this story? No. Otherwise, I would have made all the good choices and would have been perfect person and not asking questions in LU.lol..no, there is no free will/choice/control/responsibility. Story just plays at every single moment. well played
Few days back, when I was working on the laptop on an office work, I realized that the text/number, I see in the monitor has no connection with the reading. At that point, I was reading a number "98" mentally(inner voice). Inner Voice could have read that as "108". The inner voice(i.e thought) can not see the monitor. So, it did not even see the number "98". It is exactly like a movie - While seeing a crying dramatic scene on the movie screen visually, there is also an audio of crying and the watcher of the movie feels the tension in their own body and get absorbed in the scene. What makes things happen? How does it work?
Simple things in life are more enjoyable in life now. Seeing the rays from the window worth millions now. Birds singing feels heavenly. I am more present and less contracted. Still the story creates suffering sometimes. But, I snap out of it as soon as I see it.6) Anything to add?

Just to confirm, which question?
I see that you've pasted different answer to the question "What makes things happen? How does it work?" May be a copy and paste error.

What makes things happen?
There is no one making any of these. Ex: Apple is not a solid thing as we normally see. Every"thing" appears on its own for no reason. It's magical, beautiful and holy.
Honestly, I don't know.How does it work?

Hi Jasmine
Your replies are clear.
Another guide is curious to know what your relationship with fear & desperation is now?
