Hi Nona, maybe its all getting a bit confused, maybe its the way i,m using language or perhaps missing something. anyway here goes.

There is an entity here which can be labeled Ian...there is evidence of this, (as i see it this is not the point which the Looking for no self is trying to make, it is not not questioning life that erupts into unique living formations

The entity can be labeled "Ian"; is there an Ian that is not merely a label? What is it?
Is there any evidence of Ian that is not a thought? What is it? Please be very specific.
No there is nothing that is anything more than a mere label called Ian. there is no evidence, thoughts have been confused as evidence of an Ian, but only ever thoughts.

We don't look for no self; there is no no-self to find. Same as there is no self. And we are absolutely questioning whether Life is unique, i.e. separate.
what i meant here is we Look for evidence of a Self as a way to get clear that Self is an idea found only in thoughts. Eventually it is seen to be ideas only. Of course a no no self is also an idea in thoughts which is seen too.
Is there any separate/unique self at all; is there anything at all that remains outside of Life living itself in all its expressions?
No there is no separate self at all. What i mean by unique is distinguishable as life being here and life being there, ie life /Ian in uk and life/Nona in New Zealand...unless i am missing something here. There is nothing at all outside of life...as its all there is.

Can i ask you what your take is on the evidence of experience that this experience labelled Ian, seems differentiated from that experience labelled Nona, is it not legitimate to say these experiences are unique is certain ways? If that's not the case, there is something in understanding that Ian is missing, which will need to be Seen.

You may ask, and I just don't know. Some days it seems there is no "differentiated experience" at all, and others it seems that when 'your' body stubs its toe and 'mine' doesn't feel pain that there 'must' be some 'differentiation'. It's a mystery, and so far any explanation appears to be just another story.

Hi Nona,
thanks for that. There's a tendency for me to attempt to define and make sense of this mystery, and perhaps that's where what is said gets muddled and mixed up in thoughts and then into into a me type story again. Still, there is an experience at present of not so easily getting trapped into beliefs about such stories and a sense that something has been Understood about thoughts and thinking and their place within Being, which seems consistently present or more easily available to rest in, than a month or so ago. So thanks again for all your encouragement and pointing, which has come at the right time, as such help often seems it always does. Still Looking and exploring and opening continues and the layers of thought of self being are revealed and will continue as needed, most likely.
