if the self were to appear again, would there ever be the actual self, ever?
If actual self is the one from the past the answer is NO, maybe it would be the lighter version, more transparen so the illusion could be easily seen.
what is your understanding of a self,i,me,myself, you?
they are all nonexistent ,illusory entities that are created by thoughts ,separated from life, constricted, controlling or desperately trying to control life. Wow.....
Are there anymore doubts?
what I experience now no doubts are possible.....the old is burning away so fast its impossible to keep up...so I have no clue who is writing these words .

Tell me how you want to proceed.

Janna,

awesome. Take your time with the questions, and answer when ready. Please answer each question separately.

There are several Facebook groups and many who are available to help you with aftercare, discussion, deeper inquiry, conditioning, you name it... but first, we need to Confirm.

Please answer in detail, each question, honestly and earnestly.

Is there you in any way or form; was there ever a you? will there ever be a you?

How does it feel to see this?

What is the illusion of separate self, how does it manifest? How would you describe it in simple terms?

How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it?

What made you see this? What was the final push?

Is there an experiencer experiencing, or is there only experience?
Actually look. Does experience belong to the body, or does the body belong to experience?

When you say "I", what are you referring to?

What was your experience leading up until the moment you awoke (before)?

What did you experience at the moment you awoke and afterwards?

Is it OK if I answer 3 questions at the time ? This process is very revealing and I want to take my time.
Is there you in any way or form ;was there ever a you? will there ever be a you?
No...no...no....there is a body and all 5 senses functioning perfectly in life ,life that does not need to be controlled by the mind. The mind creates this entity with the whole belief structure around it that can't be seen in direct experience.
This"me" never existed because its created by the thought once seen this illusion will deconstruct.
How does it feel to see this?
Everything is as before but at the same time different. The seeking for something "out there" has stopped, the sense of settling into this reality feels right. Life seem to be more about surrender instead of control. The " me" has lost it's ability to be reactive, take everything personally, create drama.Life somehow takes over and carries on living which creates a sense of spaciousness instead of constriction.
What is the illusion of separate self, how does it manifest? How would you describe it in simple terms?
The separate self is created by thought, conditioning, names, definitions ,beliefs from early childhood and becomes more and more defined and rigid with time. The separate self's thinking creates the separation from life, its fear based, focused on "mine" and "other".In simple terms this self can't ever be satisfied ,it is controlling, fearful, constricted and fighting for survival. The sad part is that this self is an illusion created by the mind.
I will continue with answers....

next question
How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it?
I would not start with "there is no you" ...I have heard this one too many times myself and this approach never penetrated the illusion.
I would ask"What is the difference between thought and experience?" Could you experience "you' like you experience touch or sound? Is is possible to experience you this way or maybe "you" are just a thought creation. Look and investigate and if you can,t find you consider the possibility that it is an illusion. What difference this would make in your life? Can you see what's possible ,how life can be lived without "you" thought running life?
What if there is a door to freedom that this could open?

What made you see this? What was the final push?
It happened when the' I" was at the point of total despair...overwhelmed and tortured by thoughts.
Two words guided me to seeing....EXPECTATIONS......SURRENDER
As the expectations finally dissolved it was surrender, total surrender that opened the gate. The self was no longer in control and was finally seen as illusion.

Is there an experiencer experiencing,or is there only experience? Actually look. Does experience belong to the body,or does the body belong to experience?
There is no one experiencing....emotions,images etc are not personal. So yes,the body is having experience but the thoughts create"my" experience what is just experiencing, not personal
When you say "I" what are you referrjng to ?
"I" is a false thought created identity but once it is seen the word I can be used when I speak or write without an attachment ,no problem here.
What was your experience leading up until the moment you awoke(before)?
My experience after years and years of seeking the Truth and enlightenment was despair and not trusting the simplicity of this process. Before ,the focus was on improving the self and later on getting rid of the self but no one ever posed the question how the self is created. It was painstaking process of looking and deconstructing the self that did it. The self...rigid,controlling,fear-based entity was finally seen.
What did you experience at the moment you awoke and afterwards?
The experience of a bubble popping....not as grand and all encompassing like some mind-altering drug experiences before just seeing reality from totally different perspective. The "I" dissolved and there was peace and sense of profound wellbeing..The life seemed the same but different.Somehow daily relating to everything changed...and its being tested since.Seems the threads connected to "self" were severed ,conditioning is still here and thoughts come up but they don't have as much power. I like what is said " once seen can't be unseen" its a daily remainder to go deeper and deeper into life living"me" and "i" seen through for what it is.The simplicity of this process is beyond anything ever experienced .
Thank you CosmiK for your guidance
