Hi Dorothy,

Re: A willingness to go through the Gateless Gate
Hi Stacy,
Finally I submit the questions that have exposed the imposter playing "I".
This Gift of Seeing is available Always yet I have dreaded it for ending the old “me” that I was attached to.
Thank you for being my Guide.
This ‘self’ has a deep unsatisfied need to keep wanting more and blaming others for interfering with my fulfilment.
I have operated as a 43 year old living at home with parents, jobless, unmarried, childless just the worst that can happen to a woman in an African society. This feeling of being a burden, a joke, a mess, a weirdo.
This ‘self’ then went into elaborate narratives that ‘once I get a job then all the others- husband and children will follow and people will respect me when they see I too can be like them, I can be seen as normal and fit in and be invited to places without any fear of my status- African, 43 years, unmarried, childless, jobless- well just an aimless going nowhere person to avoid’.
The circumstances that held me as a victim in the bondage narrative from 2011 living with parents, jobless, husbandless and childless. Now appear pitiful, ridiculous, going on the same loop, tired, worn out stories. Yet these stories propelled to search at ever deeper levels and not getting satisfied and starting the search again.
Now it is laughable the stones I put in my own way, the arguments, hatreds, revenge plans, rage. And all of these led me Here and Now to face the Self that I have avoided due to the fear of meeting Who Is because the made up ‘self’ must be removed and wants to fight for its ‘dear little life’.
- A blessing of leaving the ‘desert behind’.
- A new dawn has opened up, I am not as stuck as I thought I was.
- The old stories do not have that deep hold on me- even though I fall for them on a daily basis.
- I am at Heaven’s Gate after years in hell.
- A responsibility has arisen in me to protect the Truth I have found out of Oneness that is all around me and I am not a separate entity at all.
- A deep gratitude of being Guided here by the Heart Space.
- I am not as deeply worried of ‘others’ opinions of who or what I should be.
- I can see when the victim story is in too deep and can stop and pull back and look at the need the victim story used to ‘keep me small’.
- I can notice the victim story starting when surrounded by the enablers-family, family friends, relatives, neighbours. The story starts to get comfortable. But when questioned-the inner fight of survival starts.
- One led by Ilona on Deep Looking on May 8th where I was guided to speak and listen to my Heart for She is Here with me. Also from the group meeting I learnt to ask fear directly, what it protects?
- The other was on Zoom led by Vince. Here I met Finders going through the motions of Awakening and Guides pointing Us to the Gateless Gate.
- Also I realized my Guide Stacy could see that I was ready for the Final Questions. Then I asked myself, What was the delay to my Awakening? The ‘so near yet so far story’.
- I realized I was using toothpain taking place after the second meeting to suffer, instead of the pain pointing to an appointment with a dentist. The toothpain showed that I am not to self neglect the body and Totally Trust the Process that I am Always taken care of however it seems.
- There is a video on Youtube where Ilona places the responsibility of seeing with the seeker using inquiry method. The Masters keep pointing to the same Truth yet, as seekers we want ‘their’ knowledge that ‘we’ do not have and this was likened to eating old chewing gum stuck under tables while Life offers us Full plates of delicious meals. This got me thinking, “ Is this what I have been doing?” Pushing my responsibility at the back and just taking what the Masters bring to us and attempting to use them at surface level.
- Then I remembered Master Jesus saying: “the harvest is much yet the labourers are few”
- Finally I felt that my need of being a perpetual seeker can end by Looking and Seeing and then when settled in Awakening, Guiding my brothers from the falsity & hell I was coming from.
I decided to attend my cousins wedding last Saturday.
I decided to wear a blue dress for the event.
I intend to fully Awaken from ‘not seeing’ that Life is all there is.
I have the free will to be Awakened or to remain in deep sleep.
I choose to Awaken fully.
I controlled my rage when confronted with ridicule from my mother about being focused on miracle healing.
Life works through our bodies and minds to make things happen using the choices and decisions we make.
When I realized I have always been Free no matter how hard I try not to be then I knew I was not living only imitating life.
Grateful,
Dorothy
Finally I submit the questions that have exposed the imposter playing "I".
This Gift of Seeing is available Always yet I have dreaded it for ending the old “me” that I was attached to.
Thank you for being my Guide.
No, there is no such separate entity anywhere.1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere,
No, even with a persistent story the separate entity is not there.in any way,
No, as much as I have been used to refer to this body as “me”.shape or form?
No, there was never ever a separate entity ‘self’, ‘me’, ‘I’.Was there ever?
It is the deeply held belief that then reflects back as reality that all I am is a body surrounded by other bodies who may be good or bad to me.2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is,
In childhood the entire scene is set up of believing in a separate ‘self’ that must look after its needs and wants all alone. The belief in strangers are bad people and so keep away from them.when it starts
It- the separate entity of ‘self’, ‘me’, ‘I’ is made up to survive at all costs. The ‘as long as my needs are met’ narrative is fulfilled then the whole world is at peace in my experience.and how it works from your own experience.
Now I see how fortunate I truly am to have an experience of a lifetime to wake up to The One Always Here that I am in fully. I realise I have been searching for years, since being a teenager with so many questions on religions and not getting the answers I sought.Describe it fully as you see it now.

-A great sense of relief.3) How does it feel to see this?
- A blessing of leaving the ‘desert behind’.
- A new dawn has opened up, I am not as stuck as I thought I was.
- The old stories do not have that deep hold on me- even though I fall for them on a daily basis.
- I am at Heaven’s Gate after years in hell.
-An immense difference- the sense of darkness ruling my life is lifting from me.What is the difference from before you started this dialogue?
- A responsibility has arisen in me to protect the Truth I have found out of Oneness that is all around me and I am not a separate entity at all.
- A deep gratitude of being Guided here by the Heart Space.
- I have noticed I step back and look at situations before reacting. Please report from the past few days.
It was the last two meetings I had:4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
- One led by Ilona on Deep Looking on May 8th where I was guided to speak and listen to my Heart for She is Here with me. Also from the group meeting I learnt to ask fear directly, what it protects?
- The other was on Zoom led by Vince. Here I met Finders going through the motions of Awakening and Guides pointing Us to the Gateless Gate.

Decision is the choice I make internally that will direct my actions.5) Describe decision & give examples from experience.
I decided to attend my cousins wedding last Saturday.
I decided to wear a blue dress for the event.
Intention is purposeful decision. It is the reason for the decision.Describe intention & give examples from experience.
I intend to fully Awaken from ‘not seeing’ that Life is all there is.
Free will is the power of choice.Describe free will & give examples from experience.
I have the free will to be Awakened or to remain in deep sleep.
Choice is the option to decide upon an outcome.Describe choice & give examples from experience.
I choose to Awaken fully.
Control is wanting an outcome to turn out exactly the way I want.Describe control & give examples from experience.
I controlled my rage when confronted with ridicule from my mother about being focused on miracle healing.
Life makes things happen. What makes things happen? How does it work?
Life works through our bodies and minds to make things happen using the choices and decisions we make.
I am responsible for actually Living Life. What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
When I realized I have always been Free no matter how hard I try not to be then I knew I was not living only imitating life.
A deep gratitude to LU community of Guiders, Finders and Beginners. I feel I can safely let go of the searching and settle into the Only Life there Is. The avoidance of Truth can now be seen for what it is and then faced. The responsibility for actually seeing what cannot be unseen is very inspiring for this gives a clear way out.6) Anything to add?
Grateful,
Dorothy

Hi Dorothy,
I'm almost crying at your answers.
We need to clear up #5, though.
If there is no "you, " who is there to do all of these decisions, intention, control or have some story called, "free will?"
Please look back at Palm Flipping Exercise on Sunday, May 15 & then look at #5 again. Let me know if you want another pointer about this or do you recall what you discovered?
Loving,
Stacy

Stacy,
Its amazing that you are nearly crying with Joy for me. This is until you see my responses to Question 5.
I still must have attachments to 'I'. When I recall the Palm Flipping exercise there was no controller at all there moving the palm.
Yet for this set of Questions I see that I felt that there was a doer and thinker still in charge of its little world
I am willing to let go of this doer and thinker. Show me how.
Thank you,
Dorothy

Re: A willingness to go through the Gateless Gate
Okay. good, here you go:
Drink Exercise
The aim of the following exercise is to discover whether the function of choice can really be found or confirmed in actual experience. The idea of making ‘choices‘ is a very clear example of a function that we wrongly identify as the basis of our identity.
Here's what’s needed - a chair, a table and two different drinks. Any two drinks you like are okay for this: coffee, tea, milk, water, juices, smoothies, beer, wine, etc.
Preparation - Place the two drinks side by side on the table in front of you, sit comfortably on the chair and mentally label them as drink A and drink B.
Experiment - Finding the function of choice
Sit for a few moments, take a few relaxed breaths and let the dust settle. When you feel ready:
1. Look at drink A and at drink B. Think about their respective qualities, the things you like about them, compare and weigh the pros and cons of each. See if a preference is manifesting for one or the other.
2. Count to 5.
3. Choose one of the drinks. Pick it up and take a sip.
Questions:
Remember that we’re looking for some kind of function, a something, an ‘I’ which is doing the ‘choosing’.
In step 1 when thinking about their respective qualities, did you ‘choose’ the qualities? Or did they kind of appear by themselves? If some preferences manifested, did you ‘choose’ these preferences? Or did they just pop up by themselves?
In step 2 when you counted to 5, if the preferences took the back seat while the numbers took the front seat, did you ‘choose’ this sequence of event? Did you ‘choose’ to shut down the preferences to give way to the counting?
Did you directly experience a mental function or faculty doing the ‘choosing’? Have you seen this function in action?
In step 3 where you made a choice, did you actually witness or directly experience a mental function or faculty doing the ‘choosing’? Did anything arise that announced, ‘I am the chooser’? If so, what does this function look like?
Sometimes we describe this sense of choosing as a ‘feeling’: It feels like ‘I’ did the 'choosing’. But the question is, can a feeling ‘choose’? Is it in the nature of a feeling to 'choose’?
Loving,
~ Stacy

Re: A willingness to go through the Gateless Gate
Hi Stacy,
I had porridge in a bowl and tea in a cup in front of me.
No, there was no 'chooser that announced themselves'.
This definitely shows the rubbish we believed in ads that show us that our feelings can choose from diapers, soft drinks, clothes, perfumes, houses, cars, dating.
The lid is really coming off!
A feeling does not 'choose'. Choosing just appears. The story I am attached to follows later on and I then believe feelings can 'choose'.
Gratitude,
Dorothy
I had porridge in a bowl and tea in a cup in front of me.
No, I did not 'choose' the qualities of tea or porridge. In step 1 when thinking about their respective qualities, did you ‘choose’ the qualities?
The qualities appeared by themselves.Or did they kind of appear by themselves?
No, I did not choose the preference of porridge over tea. It just appeared by itself. If some preferences manifested, did you ‘choose’ these preferences? Or did they just pop up by themselves?
I did not realise any arrangement happening all I I did was count 1,2,3,4,5.In step 2 when you counted to 5, if the preferences took the back seat while the numbers took the front seat,
No, I did not even know there was a 'sequence of event'.did you ‘choose’ this sequence of event?
No, the counting occurred together with the preferences.Did you ‘choose’ to shut down the preferences to give way to the counting?
No, there was no witness or mental function or faculty doing the 'choosing porridge over tea'. It all just occurred. In step 3 where you made a choice, did you actually witness or directly experience a mental function or faculty doing the ‘choosing’?
Did anything arise that announced, ‘I am the chooser’?
No, there was no 'chooser that announced themselves'.
It looks simple a bit too simple for my head packed full of thoughts. I had assumed I knew the 'chooser'. Only for this to be revealed to be not so.If so, what does this function look like?
No, a feeling cannot choose, I have long assumed it can.Sometimes we describe this sense of choosing as a ‘feeling’: It feels like ‘I’ did the 'choosing’. But the question is, can a feeling ‘choose’?
This definitely shows the rubbish we believed in ads that show us that our feelings can choose from diapers, soft drinks, clothes, perfumes, houses, cars, dating.
The lid is really coming off!
No, a feeling feels love, happy, sad, rage, hate, revenge. Is it in the nature of a feeling to 'choose’?

Okay, Dorothy, there is no place like home!
Excellent. Please re-answer each piece of Question # 5 with your new SEEING from the exercise above. We need to make sure you are fully "cooked."
How is it FEELING to SEE that you are not "doing" or "controlling? How is it FEELING for "the lid" to come off? Please describe in Direct Experience terms.
Loving!

Re: A willingness to go through the Gateless Gate
Hi Stacy,
Here is Question 5.
I do not know how it works- it just happens without force or interference.
It is a shock that ' I do not do or control anything' and then there is relief, a 'phew': all that effort was never required.
Gratitude,
Dorothy
Here is Question 5.
To my shock the 'me', 'I', 'myself' does not decide. Decision just happens. There are no clear examples of decision from experience. This is a tough one as 'I' always assumed 'I' decided.5a). Describe decision & give examples from experience.
The 'I' I thought I was cannot intend on anything. Intention just happens. There are no clear examples from experience. Again I believe I made intentions.5b). Describe intention and give examples from experience.
This 'free will' is a big one-the freedom song 'I' sing when 'I feel oppressed' by 'another'. It is a core belief so tied into humanity. Free will just happens. There are no clear examples from experience.5c). Describe free will and give examples from experience.
This 'choice' is another belief. The 'I' know my choices. It is tied in with who 'I am'. Choice just happens. There are no clear examples from experience.5d). Describe choice and give examples from experience.
This is another crazy belief 'I' have on control over 'my life'. Control just happens. There are no clear examples from experience.5e). Describe control and give examples from experience.
Life make things happen.5f). What makes things happen? How does it work?
I do not know how it works- it just happens without force or interference.
'I' am not responsible for anything regardless of upbringing, schooling, societal pressure and expectations. Everything just occurs. There are no clear examples from experience.5g). What am I responsible for? Give examples from experience.
"HOW is it FEELING to see that you are not "doing" or " controlling?
It is a shock that ' I do not do or control anything' and then there is relief, a 'phew': all that effort was never required.
I FEEL I am at Heaven's Gate about to go through. It FEELS comical this entire journey to reach here to realise the 'I' that I identified with so strongly and never doubted was always a hoax. Just what have I been doing? The laughter is immense and the fear dawning on me of letting go of my old false identity. I really must fall and be held by Life Itself. How is it FEELING for "the lid" to come off? Please describe in Direct Experience terms.
Gratitude,
Dorothy

Re: A willingness to go through the Gateless Gate
Good morning, Dorothy!
Yes.
There *are* clear examples of *not* having control, intention, free will, etc. That's what it is asking, but I know what you mean.
I'm going to share your answers with other guides to see if they have any questions or if this sounds complete. I don't know if they'll ask for those examples or not. I'm satisfied.
Just be with those feelings of release & freedom. Relax into your new knowing.
Remember, this is a beginning. Now you'll need to question everything that was based on the false belief in a separate "self" and the illusion of control. This can take years.
I recommend that you continue coming to the video meetings to support you in sorting things out.
Loving,
Stacy

Hi again
Here is one more question:
Is there a subject, a noun that lives life, or is life just verbs?
Thank you!

Re: A willingness to go through the Gateless Gate
Hi Stacy,
Its been a shocking week literally looking at all my false beliefs and my they are coming up fast! The Drinking exercise really showed that I confused function with identity and it hit me just want do I know? This is crazy.
Yes, the Finders meetings will help a lot to unentangle myself from this cobweb of a mess.
All I thought real is now false. Gosh! What a Revelation!
I await other Guides to assist in Pointing to Gateless Gate in case anything managed to hide itself.
My response is here:
The little life I was and I am living is a noun where I used and still use labels and pronouns to confuse myself into thinking 'I' can be anything other than no one and nobody.
The subject - object is only a reference not the reality at all however hard I try to make it so!
I FEEL like the sky fell- the firmament I thought real is like a flimsy curtain now- to disappear at any moment Life decides.
Thank you for being my Guide,
Dorothy

I await other Guides to assist in Pointing to Gateless Gate in case anything managed to hide itself.
My response is here:
From the shocker of the upside down world I thought real well here it is: Life is a Verb, it does itself. It does not require my doing, thinking, acting, dramas literally nothing is required of me by Life.Is there a subject, a noun that lives life, or is life just verbs?
The little life I was and I am living is a noun where I used and still use labels and pronouns to confuse myself into thinking 'I' can be anything other than no one and nobody.
The subject - object is only a reference not the reality at all however hard I try to make it so!
I FEEL like the sky fell- the firmament I thought real is like a flimsy curtain now- to disappear at any moment Life decides.
Thank you for being my Guide,
Dorothy

Good morning, Dorothy!
You are home! You have crashed the Gateless Gate.
I can't resist:

But also watch these, please:
This can also come & go as we adjust to what is true. Watch this, please, because SEEING can take a while to settle in:

and

Look for a Private Message from an admin top right, too.
See you at the meeting!
Loving,
Stacy
