Hi Warissem

What an exciting exercise!
Where are they coming from and going to?
They seem to come from no where and going back to no where
Did you do anything to make a particular thought or thoughts appear?
No, they just arised from no where
Could you have done anything to make a different thought appear at that exact moment instead?
No, I could think I could control it, but that would also be what was appearing
Can you predict your next thought?
No
Can you select from a range of thoughts to have only pleasant thoughts?
No
Can you choose not to have painful, negative or fearful thoughts?
No
Can you pick and choose any kind of thought?
Is it possible to prevent a thought from appearing?
No, they are just appearing

Best regards

Miko

Hi Miko

Good observations.

You push the "submit" button too many times : to avoid this multiplication of the same post, write your answers on a word format then copy/paste it to the forum. Push the "submit" once then wait even it is slow to operate. Check it : if it is not published, repeat the process.

What is arising when you read this :

There is no you, no Miko, in any shape or form, there never was, it will never be.

Best wishes

Hi Warissem

Haha sorry about that, but thanks for the information.
What is arising when you read this :

There is no you, no Miko, in any shape or form, there never was, it will never be.
What’s arising is nauseasness, sadness and energy playing in the stomach. Thoughts are also arising.

Is there something you want to get out of the body? Something which is not accepted ? Elaborate on this.

and energy playing in the stomach.

Do you see that it is a sensation on which is labeled "energy playing in the stomach" ?

Thoughts are also arising.
This is ordinary.

Hi Miko

Fine. There is an exercise for you.

Bring up a thought about a character labelled "friend".
Then bring up a thought about a character labelled "stranger".

Compare these thoughts.
Is there a difference in these thoughts?
Is there a true difference or is it just different content?

Now, bring up a thought about a character labelled "friend".
After that, look at a thought about the character labelled "me”.

Is there a difference?
Is there anything special about thoughts with the content "me-character"?

Hi Warissem
Bring up a thought about a character labelled "friend".
Then bring up a thought about a character labelled "stranger".

Compare these thoughts.
Is there a difference in these thoughts?
There seem to be the same. Same energy - same emptiness - same physical appearance
Is there a true difference or is it just different content?
There is no difference
Now, bring up a thought about a character labelled "friend".
After that, look at a thought about the character labelled "me”.
Is there a difference?
Yes, there seem to be a difference
Is there anything special about thoughts with the content "me-character"?
There seem to be a more aliveness in the «me-character». Like this is «live» experience and a feeling of experiencer

Hi again Warissem

Just wanted to say there seems to not always be a difference between «me» and «friend».

There seems to be a seeing sometimes that «we» are the same. Same appearance as in physical bodies, reactions, emotions… just energy.

But it’s not always seen, only when focusing.

Hi Miko

You like theory instead of practice, you lean on thoughts instead of direct experience. It is of no help for you to answer through the mind. I don't expect right or wrong answers, I am pointing where to look.

Right now, you would say : I am looking at a screen in front of me.
What is true in this sentence ? Before giving an answer, be sure that the answer is SEEN for true. For that there is a need to confront each word to direct experience : is it seen, is it heard, is it smelt, is it tasted, is it touched (or is it a sensation, a texture).

Then, in the light of what is said above : are you seeing the screen ?

Thanks

Warissem
