So Anabel...

Perhaps now is a good time - could you respond to the following question. Savour the question, roll it around, see what words pop out.

Is there a 'me', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever? how about self, is there anything that is separate from everything else?

Best wishes,
John

Hi responding to your recent question.

It was seen that there is no Me at all, all is vacant, empty.
checked around there was no shape or form anywhere and what was realised, was that there never has been because it is not here now.
There is no self it is all in the mind ,there is no divide, no end, it is all one. This was astonishing to see, but the brain said this is too simple! where are the fireworks?! It was just seen simply with no emotion , nothing.I did not feel a death either.
The attention was brought to where the body was and there was nothing , it was empty. The brain said " I am empty, wow! too simple ". At the same time this emptyness was full, completely full with, awareness, life what can you call it? it is just free nothingness.

Thank you again ;)

Cool.

The following questions/requests are worth savouring too...they will serve to clarify:

Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works.

How does it feel to see this? describe in detail.

Many thanks,
John

Hi John,

Illusion of separate self is , when "I" believe that there is a me and others. That I am only this body, character, feelings, thoughts and emotions.
Illusion starts when "I" believe the thoughts and emotions that arise are real. "I" then suffer.

To see this, is liberating.

Many thanks to you:)

Next question :)

How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it.

Best,
John

Hi John,

wow! Well lets see if this makes sense ;D

Illusion is believing the concepts you have been taught about everything to be true.
Due to illusion it seems that we are all separate, individuals, living different lives. Once illusion is pushed to one side, Then we see what we really are, pure formless ,endless awareness.

Kind regards

Anabel

I know I'm being picky :) but do "we see"?

Describe as best you can how seeing occurs. What is seeing? Who sees?

See if you can stretch to a couple of paragraphs. ;)

With best wishes,
John

Hi John,

Well. there is no we

Seeing is just what there is right here right now. that is all, nothing else.

What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look? was there a specific moment when seeing happened or was it gradual? what exactly happened?

Please share as much as you can.

Warm wishes,
John

Hellooo

It was gradual. The first exercise done about sitting with "self" ,"sense" was truelly the first time "I" saw there was no separation and nobody here. The next day nothing had changed ,everything continued as always and today nothing has changed, but it clicked. It is just this, so so simple , right here, right now, nothing more. There is really nothing more and this is just bloody brilliant.

Thank you

Anabel

Another interesting question for you...

Are you awareness, or is awareness you? Is awareness something that can see?

WIth best wishes,
John
