Decisions are made by themselves. Thoughts arise that seemingly decide but this may fall away. Sometimes it seems that an I decide when I get pulled into the story, but when truth is seen it is noticed that is there no one there to decide. There is no need for an decider and one doesn't exist either.

What made you mostly and finally see the illusion of self?

I'd say three things. First when I found this website and started looking. Secondly when I realized that I didn't look honestly enough (I mostly used cached answers, or didn't look long enough). And what cemented the view was reading that dialogue I previously linked to.
