And even if the function was seen in action ie there was the appearance of a stockbroker that seemed to be choosing….what is the actual experience?
[/quote
The appearance of a stockbroker that seemed to be choosing is the actual experience of ‘colour’ + label + thought.I mixed here feeling with emotion.
When the thought comes up that says “it feels like I am a person”. What exactly does that feel like? Is this feeling an actual sensation/s or just thought about being person? LOOK carefully.
The thought that says “it feels like I am a person” is just thought about being person. The function of choosing is happening in the mind. The mind is a label given to a thought or a cluster of thoughts. The AE of ‘choosing’ is a thought. The AE of ‘choice’ is a thought.
Where is this function of choosing happening? What is the AE of ‘choosing’? What is the AE of ‘choice'?

Hi Brexit!
Nice LOOKING. You seem clear about all of that now...you are doing great! :)
Okay, let's move onto the body.
Here is an interesting exercise on the body. Sit with eyes closed for about 15 minutes. Paying attention only to the pure sensations, without relying on thoughts or mental images:
Can it be known how tall the body is?
Does the body have a weight or volume?
In the actual experience does the body have a shape or a form?
Is there a boundary between the body and the clothing?
Is there a boundary between the body and the chair?
Is there an inside or an outside? If there is an inside - inside of what exactly?
If there is an outside, the outside of what exactly?
What does the word/label ‘body’ ACTUALLY refer to?
What is the ACTUAL experience of the body?
Look very carefully, especially with the last question. Take your time, don’t rush. You can look several times during the day while doing other things (like washing hands, showering, having a short break from work, walking, etc.) before replying.

Re: Self-brexiting
Hello Brexit,
In actual experience can head, hands, legs, neck, eyes, ears, etc actually be found?
Thought labels ‘colours’, ‘sensations’ (cold/hot/pressure etc) etc as a body - but no actual body is present. Thought does this with everything that seems to exist and to create the 'person in the world' illusion.

Notice what is actually present in this image. Thought says it's a cartoon character called Bart Simpson, but all that's actually there is yellow, red, blue, white, black. There is no Bart present in the image at all.
Can you see that Bart is 100% just a story? The body is a story in the same way.
Also notice that the thing which thought claims is your body doesn't even have a head. Can you find a head?
Try this to examine the solidity of the head.
Press a finger down onto the top of the ‘head’.
Notice what is actually present.
Is it a head, or is it just a sensation labelled ‘pressure’ and a story ABOUT a head?
Do the same with a finger on each side of the head.
Is a head actually found, or are there just sensations again?
And is there anything between the pressure points, or is it just a thought that says there *must* be something between them?
Can an actual body be found that comprises of sensation? Or are there sensations which thought labels ‘body’?

Hello Brexit,
I would like for you to answer those questions again...but this time using your own words and not cutting and pasting the questions as the answer to the questions. This doesn't show me in any way that you are seeing what I am pointing to...all it does is show me that you are good at cutting and pasting.

Hello Brexit,
Thank you for answering in your own words. It is important that you answer in your own words so I can see how you are travelling. In future, can you please answer all questions with your own words.
The colour labelled ‘Bart’ is the AE of colour and not the AE of Bart. ‘Yellow’, ‘blue’, ‘white’ and ‘red’ are labels that point to actual experience labelled as ‘colour’, however, if you ignore all labels, even the label ‘colour’, all there is, is THIS.
1. Close the eyes and hold up one hand. Pay attention only to the felt sensations ‘of the hand’.
2. Open the eyes, and now observe the hand by looking only.
3. While looking at the hand, pay attention to the felt sensations.
Repeat 1 to 3 as many times as needed and investigate…
Normally we believe that the sensation is coming from the sight, the ‘object’ seen (hand).
But actually, is there any link between the sensation and the sight, meaning that the sensation is ‘coming from’ the sight (labelled as hand) or only thoughts and mental constructs link them?
Repeat this with all of the body parts below, one-by-one.
- feet
- legs
- arms
- belly
- chest
- head (looking into the mirror)
Spend some time doing this and report back on what you found.

Re: Self-brexiting
Hi Kay,
The experience of head (looking into the mirror) was more complicated. First come the thought that says look that’s me. Then come the judging of this happening like the image seen in the mirror (me) is just the actual experience of ‘colour’ not a person or a me. As I hold on up the head a sensation appears between the hand and the head. Not the hand nor the head produces the sensation. The sensation just appears without the influence from any part.
Peace, Brexit
As a hand was holding up a sensation appears from nowhere. A thought appears and says that the ‘object’ seen (hand) has made this sensation. But actually there is no link between the sensation and the ‘object’ seen. In actual experience, there is no person or anything doing the sensation. It just happened. This experience applies equally in the same way with feet, legs, arms, belly, chest.

Since then, there is a lot going on here. Making the difference between thoughts and the content of thoughts was the most relaxing thing being experienced. Differentiating between what actual experience is and what seems to be happening is revolutionating. The revelation of the story that a person or a thing is behind the doings and the decisions making has made the identification with this body absurd. There is an astonishing what comes next.

Re: Self-brexiting
Hey Brexit,
Here is an even deeper investigation of the body, to deepen the 'seeing around the seeming body. Please follow each step, don't leave out any. Take your time. Don't move to the next step until the previous one is clearly seen. Repeat the exercise several times.
Stand in front of a bigger mirror.
(1) First, close the eyes and feel the sensations labelled ‘body’.
(2) Then open the eyes and look into the mirror while still paying attention to the sensations.
Is there any connection between the felt sensations and the image in the mirror?
Or just thoughts (and/or mental images) suggest that there is?
(3) While still paying attention to the sensations move one hand and observe the movement from the mirror.
Is there any connection between the felt sensations (labelled ‘hand’) and image of movement in the mirror?
(4) Now do the same movement with the hand, but this time look at the hand directly, not from the mirror.
Is there any connection between the felt sensations (labelled ‘hand’) and the image ‘of movement’?
Or only thoughts suggest it?
(5) Now, pay attention only to the image in the mirror.
Does the image by itself suggest in any way that is ‘you’ or ‘your body’?
Does the image itself suggest in any way that it is a ‘body’ at all?
Or are there only colours and shapes?
(6) Where the mirror ends, some parts of the body (probably legs) cannot be seen.
Just by the image in the mirror, is there any ‘knowledge’ that there must be legs, or only thoughts and mental images suggest so?
(7) Now turn away from the mirror and look forward (don’t look directly to any body parts).
Is there a ‘body’ anywhere when all thoughts and images are ignored, or are there only sensations?
(8) Start to walk slowly.
Is there a ‘body walking’, or are there only sensations?
Is there actual experience of ‘walking’ at all?
Or just THOUGHTS ABOUT ‘walking’?
Can such a thing as ‘body’ be found OR just THOUGHTS ABOUT a ‘body’?
Can such a thing as ‘walking’ be found?
(9) Are the sensations localized in space, like ‘going through the room’; OR is there only an image that is labelled ‘room’ and appearing sensations without any location?
Love, Kay
xx

Re: Self-brexiting
Hey Brexit...nice work on the body exercise!
The idea of something causing something else, for example a thought causing sensation or that the body is moving is the belief in time.
It is impossible for something to cause something else...because that not only points to two (which points to separation) but that something came before or after something else (moon rises when the sun goes down etc). The same applies to the body walking - that the body, for example took 10 minutes to walk from the bus stop to home.
So, let's have a look at the idea of time.
There is a general assumption that there is linear time that started (if started at all) somewhere very far in the past and advances to the distant future. The present moment (now) is considered to be a very small fragment of time or an event that is moving forward on this linear time, coming from the past and advancing to the future.
But is there an experience that the ’now’ is moving along the line of time?
Any experience of one ‘moment’ giving way to the next?
Any actual experience of one event following another?
How fast is the ‘present moment’ actually moving?
Just look at 'this moment', can you find a point where it began?
How long does the ‘now’ last?
Where does the ‘now’ start, and where does it end?
When does the ‘now’ exactly become the 'past'?
What is the ‘past’ in actual experience?
So is there actual experience of ‘time’ or thoughts about ‘time’?
Love, Kay

Hi Kay,

The label/word ‘now’ is the actual experience of ‘thought’. It is not the AE of any period of time. There is no experience that the ‘now’ is moving along the line of time.
But is there an experience that the ’now’ is moving along the line of time?
The label one ‘moment’ refers to thoughts. It is the AE of thought. The next ‘moment’ refers to another thought. The first thought doesn’t give way to the next.
Any experience of one ‘moment’ giving way to the next?
Events seems to be dependant on each other. Just thoughts say it. There is no actual experience of one event following another.

If there is no thought, the ‘present moment’ isn’t actually moving. Just thought says that the ‘present moment’ seems to move.
How fast is the ‘present moment’ actually moving?
‘this moment’ has no beginning and no end. It just is.
Just look at 'this moment', can you find a point where it began?
The ‘now’ has no attributes, it just is.
How long does the ‘now’ last?
The ‘now’ has no specifications and it has no start and no end.
Where does the ‘now’ start, and where does it end?
Actually the ‘now’ doesn’t become the ‘past’ but if the awareness of the ‘now’ is distracted through thoughts it becomes the ‘past’.
When does the ‘now’ exactly become the 'past'?
The label/word ‘past’ is the actual experience of ‘thought’. It is not the AE of time.
What is the ‘past’ in actual experience?
There is no actual experience of ‘time’. Just thoughts about ‘time’.
So is there actual experience of ‘time’ or thoughts about ‘time’?
Peace, Brexit
