I poorly stated the above post.

The illusion is that some of my relationships are happy and healthy, but are not really happy and healthy at all, as I'd thought them to be.

Best,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,

Well, that's a useful perception to recognise.

Just respond to this directly with whatever shows up...

Who are you when no longer 'Dennis'?

Much love,
John

There is no who. There is life, expressing through this embodiment.

Warm regards,
Dennis

Hi Dennis,
There is no who. There is life, expressing through this embodiment.
Is there a sense of presence?
Maybe now? Reading this.

Best wishes,
John

There is now the experience of seeing colored shapes, and thoughts that arise about the shapes.

I'm not sure what "sense" or "a sense of presence" means. Would you explain that to me please?

Thanks.

Best,
Dennis

Do you exist?

It must be very cheap to live. :)

How would you describe the experience of life at the moment?

Best wishes,
John

Yes, cheap. But there's no parking anywhere. :/

Groundless. Spacious.

Thanks John.

Hi Dennis,
Groundless. Spacious.
Cool.

And how is this playing out now in everyday relationships?

Best wishes,
John

It's having an impact. Self/Dennis is acting more forthright with others.

Thanks for everything John.

Bless,
Dennis

Would you say this is because now there is not a believing in this or that story - for example, the story of a relationship, or what is 'supposed to happen' - etc?

And so, there is no sense of consequence for 'me'?

Or something else? :)

Best wishes,
John

Yes, it's seen that they are stories, literally, first and foremost.

There remains a "sense of consequence" though, within the stories. Within the "me".

Does that make sense?

Thanks John.

Dennis

Not wanting to presume, so could you say more about the experience of 'sense of consequence'.
I appreciate it may be subtle.

Best wishes,
John

Ok I'll try.

Dennis/Self grasps that it is not actual. That truth is rather sobering. How does a fiction (Dennis/Self) continue on in it's life stories knowing the stories, as well at itself, are fiction? It's a game changer to say the least.

Illusions begin to fall. Truths emerge. A lot of Dennis/Self's life is looked at in a more honest unvarnished way. Dennis/Self goes forward with new perspective...new perception. In some ways it's joyful. In some ways it's painful. But it feels good.

One of Dennis/Self's revelations is how consequence/karma comes into play to affect the present moment, and life expresses in a more beautiful way in that moment when it is informed by truth rather than illusion.

Warm regards,
Dennis
