LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
My understanding of this is that LU is guiding so that the experience of a self is seen for what it really is: a concept, not a thing.
What are you looking for at LU?
I am looking for a sustained experience of no self. I have had glimpses. Longest experience lasted about a week. It just came, then it was gone. I rember what it was like, but I am no longer experiencing it most of the time. I am also looking for an experience of the process of direct pointing instructions.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
I am looking fo No way out. I expect guidance to look deeply enough into the self to see it's not there. Without guidance it is easy to not bother or avoiding looking deeply into the inquiery and experience and staying there with it.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I practice Tibetan Buddhist Tantra as well as Yoga both under the guidance of spiritual teachers. Both practices have now led me to this. As far as I can tell, Both paths are designed to lead one to see there is no real or inherent self, and they work, but I am very interested and drawn to the directness, effectiveness and efficience of direct pointing methods.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?

Hello Astrid-Eve,
I can help you to look deeper into this matter of no-self. We can perform an inquiry together and see what we find out. Please do put all your attention into this though. So if you are reading any books on this matter, or watching satsang videos on the web, please put them down for the time of our inquiry.
So tell me, when you are ready to begin :)
