All right, here it is.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue?
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
6) Anything to add?

No.1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
Re: nostorynoself
The illusion is the belief in the "I" as a separate self; it is acculturated from infancy and accepted without thought, but does not lend comfort.2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
Re: nostorynoself
It makes sense out of my experience; before i began this dialogue, i still entertained that i could be in error.3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue?
Re: nostorynoself
The last bit was your confirmation statement to the effect that what has been seen cannot be unseen.4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
Re: nostorynoself
Decision and intention are thoughts; free will, choice and control are thoughts. What happens, happens; the universe works in flow; I am responsible? "I" am not "responsible." "I" am a thought.5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
Re: nostorynoself
Thank you; gratitude; after so many years of wondering why I didn't "get" it like "everyone else," through contact with this work (and Jed McKenna's books), I came to see I was not mistaken, not in the wrong, not on the wrong side of the wall. Thank you. It began in mid-July when I totaled my car and came inches from totaling myself; I thought, at my age, is there something still for me to do while I'm here? And this was it. Thank you.6) Anything to add?

Awesome work! I am going to have other guides look over this to see if they have anything else they would like to add.

Re: nostorynoself
Marlowe,
Just a few more questions for you.
First, would you mind expanding on your answers for final questions #2 and #5? If possible please add examples from your own experience.
Second, regarding one of my previous questions about subject/object duality...
Third and in conjunction with the previous question, I previously asked
Thank you!

Second, regarding one of my previous questions about subject/object duality...
Would you mind clarifying what you meant when you said "I am of that experience." What is the I you are referring to?"Q: Can you tell me where you are in terms of understanding/seeing the subject object illusion?
A: I am not sure what is referenced by this term (subject object illusion). If it means: the illusion of the possibility of there being a separate subject/object, I would say I am of that experience."
Third and in conjunction with the previous question, I previously asked
Can you tell me by what is the body experienced?Q: Is the body experienced or does the body experience?
A: The body is experienced.
Thank you!

Re: nostorynoself
The illusion of the separate self is a thought of "I"; seeing "I" as other than a fictitious, convenient appellation. It starts, I'm not sure I can answer that. How it works. Not clear on how it works. I see it as something I use for convenience in this moment.2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
Re: nostorynoself
Not sure i have different answer; things happen, decisions happen, not sure of an answer to how it works. i clench when i "feel" responsible. not responsible.5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.

Clenching. A passing body tension. Body thoughts. No responsibility. What is it that is clenching? What is it that feels responsible?
