Hi Todd,
One of the guides has asked you to give a further example from your own experience in regard to question 2.

Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
First answer to question #2: Within the whole of reality exists a small but powerful biological and mechanical function that can create the feeling of a separate "self". This specific function originates in mind only as thought. It can also be initiated in the body though a mis-idenification or ownership with the senses. It has a centering effect or feeling to it. Hence this illusion that began as a non-solid object or belief can ground itself into ones psychological, emotional and physical perceptual reality and seem very solid.
[quote]Second answer to question #2: The 'separate self": A presumed entity to fill in for lack of knowing who and what I am. As a child I would say its a buddy at first. A little added protection. Fantasy coming to life kind of. I felt like my childhood was normal. No special trauma. Unfortunately, and not maliciously but definitely ubiquitous it steeps into a feeling real. Contraction. The feeling of the contradiction began between what I knew and what I was told. One felt true one not. Simply was not supported in the one that felt true so began to wear the skin of the "other" or "separate self" to fit in. Others liked it when I fit it. The "My" separate self is or was always scanning various conditioned programs to see which one would be the most appropriate in each current situation including spiritual programs. I believe it was one of the enlightening quotes that spoke to this. Contantly scanning for which program would work best in a particular situation. Add in the "pop-ups" and the CNN crawl at the top and there you have it. It's the presumed lack now filled and solidified as protection of my "Me-go". And it works or justifies the present moment if one as a "separate self" feels threatened to a greater or lesser degree. Ultimately never.
When I saw my "Me-go" (in person) and directly as oppossed to an Ego ( abstract concept) that's when I got it much more clarity. Previously, I had experienced the my "Ego" at arms length. Not digestible. When I saw it or what it was there was nothing to resolve about it. Now, seen directly it lost it all its power. I have tried to invite it in to sit down and chat it up a bit but doesn't do it. It just quickly fades back into the nothingness it was.
Hope this helps.

Re: OKness
Hi Todd,
I'm happy to say that the guides are now satisfied that you've seen through the illusion of a separate self and so they have no further queries.
I've been in touch with LU admin to get you 'turned blue' and they'll be contact you with invitations to the various groups etc. I'll pass your FB details on to them as soon as you let me have them. Also, remember that you can always get in touch with me if you need to discuss anything.
I've really enjoyed being able to take over and continue Angelika's good work, and to help you to look and see so clearly that there simply ain't no separate self, and never was.
Go well Todd.
Love,
Pete
