Hi! I know it's been a while but I'm still here. I watched the videos - all made sense. Working through it.

Re: Silent echo
Hi Stacy,
How does it FEEL to see this?
I pondered over this question a lot. Should be pretty easy to notice how I "feel"... but... it didn't feel as straightforward in the moment when I first read it. It feels like my mind is still grasping at things - still putting forth the effort to see ...

Re: Silent echo
Greetings Stacy,
What about the content of thoughts, what they describe?
Content of thoughts includes:
Round, red. Values of lights and darks, shadow areas, lighter areas, some areas a little glossy. The skin has little contrasting light spots - almost iridescent. Thoughts of memories of tasting ...

Re: Silent echo
Hi Stacy, I'm sorry I'm so tardy with my responses. I really do appreciate your time in all this.
Yeah, I understand that intention is a sneaky thought.

I don't know what it is. I think it is nothing and everything. It is just awareness. If you think not, then what is it?

Re: Silent echo
Hi Stacy,
So, exactly how does a thought make the hand turn? Especially, if i hasn't happened until afterwards?
I don't believe that a thought makes the hand turn at all. There's the intention to turn the hand... an intention to do so after reading the instruction, but there are no thoughts ...

How is the movement controlled?
My (the?) mind reads the instructions and then initiates the movement. Or sometimes a thought comes “I should try this exercise one more time.” After that, I don't know how the movement is controlled. The hand is turning up when it's down, and down when it's up and ...

Re: Silent echo
Hi Stacy,
I'm sorry, I haven't ghosted. I had a spring break trip that I needed to focus on. But I'm also feeling a little in the gut that this isn't fully true. It's true - yes, we had a spring break trip and I needed to focus on the trip and all the logistics of it - but it's not the complete ...

Re: Silent echo
At the end of the twenty minutes compare the two ways in which the experience was labelled and answer the following four questions:
1. Is one truer than the other, and If so, which one?
No, I couldn't discern if one was truer than the other. Both seemed true.
2. What is here without labels ...

Re: Silent echo
Hi Stacy,
I watched the two videos. They didn't really fully resonate with me at this time because fear isn't something I'm feeling lately. I did in the past, but I think I had made an effort to notice it when I felt it. And since then, it's not been a huge issue for me. I've heard about people ...

Re: Silent echo
Now what comes up when reading that there is no separate self, never has been, and never will be? That the whole thing was a made up story that we believed.
I’ve read this statement/question - in several different iterations so many times and it still gives me the heebie-jeebies, discomfort and ...
