Hi Jana :)
That's lovely to read. Thank you ;)
If you don't mind, I'll send this thread to the administrators to get a consensus that you've "passed through the gate", so to speak.
Is that ok?

Re: There is nothing
Hi Jana :)
Answer these questions in your own time and in your own words, based only on what you see.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how ...

Re: There is nothing
Hi Jana :)
Nice.
Soon, I'll give you some final questions.
Before I do, is there anything unclear? Anything that feels like a sticking point?

HI :)
Everything points to sensations
Please describe what is meant here, in more detail.
Narrative arises in what appear to be the area of the head.
It appears to be the location of the head. Please take some time and look carefully for the location of the arising of thoughts. Is it in the ...

Re: There is nothing
Hi :)
That's OK. Just respond when you can.
Answering those previous questions with "I don't know", isn't exactly what I was looking for. I want you to describe what you see.
So the whole point of this guiding and direct looking is that we look closely at what Reality really is experientially ...

Re: There is nothing
HI :)
So, there is no perceiver. No witness.
I like what you said about thoughts being like another sense.
What is communicating with "Dion", "the guide".
What responds? What talks of sensations in the chest?
What is describing all of this?
What is Jana?

HI Jana :)
Let's recap.
Is there any direct experiential evidence of a perceiver/witness?
Describe what you can perceive regarding thoughts and feelings.

Re: There is nothing
Hi Jana :)
Today it was so clear that thoughts arising have nothing to do with reality.... it seems like such a different recognition that they are random or silly or useless.
Yes, very good. Nice observation ;)
About the feelings of contraction in the chest, etc. Unwanted feelings.

Re: There is nothing
HI Jana :)
Just a reminder. The answering of these questions doesn't mean anything to me. They are to draw your attention to what IS.
Just trying to "get it right" is a step in the wrong direction. I get the feeling you're trying to pass a test. This guiding thing is all only to draw attention to ...

Re: There is nothing
Hi Jana :)
"What" as in what could be suffering?
Yes, that's what I mean. I should have taken the time to clarify.
What could be suffering?
It's a problem in that it feels awful in the body, it's a problem for the ego, for the feeler of the feelings.
What is the ego? Where is the feeler ...

Re: There is nothing
hi Jana,
There is nothing found that is controlling an outcome, but all of that doesn't relieve suffering.
There is suffering.
But WHAT is suffering?
There is attachment to outcomes and disappointment and wanting experiences to be different.
Is this a problem? For who?
What is attached to ...

Nice to hear from you.

HI Jana :)
It feels like bouncing back and forth between an experience in the body of no self and of getting into my head and thinking about it

Re: There is nothing
Hello :)
If the seer is a sensation, what is it that is witness to the sensation? Then the idea pops up, if this seer is the sensation, then it's being seen. The seer being seen then feels like another construct or concept.
