Thread for Pippa
Re: Thread for Pippa
Dear Twinkle,
Here are a few ground rules,
1. You agree to post at least once a day, even if only to say, "still here!"
I am not your teacher, all I can do is point, you look, until clear seeing happens.
2. In general, I will ask questions, you look deeply and honestly, and respond.
3. Responses require simple, uncontrived honest looking. There are no wrong or right answers.
4. Responses are best from direct experience (felt senses and observed thoughts). Long-winded analytical and philosophical answers, and stream of consciousness answers are best avoided and may even hinder progress.
5. Put aside all other teachings, philosophies and such for the remainder of this investigation. Really put all your effort and attention in to seeing this reality, as it is. If you have a daily and essential meditation practice, it is fine to continue that.
6. Please learn to use the quote function; instructions are located in the link below this line:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=660”
If you haven't already seen it, there is intro info here, our disclaimer and a short video too.

If you could confirm you have seen all the above and would like me to be your guide - then we shall begin.
What are your expectations for this process?
How will it change you?
How will this feel?
You can press 'subscribe to this topic in the blue bar at the bottom of this page and receive an email every time I post here. Some report its easier to write their response somewhere else and then copy it to avoid time running out on the forum.
Looking forward to your response,
Nettie

Re: Thread for Pippa
yes I am happy for you to be my guide Nettie. and hve read all of the above
I;m not sure if I have any expectations. I would like to be able to see through the story of pippa and the limitations that causes me. I would like to feel freeir.
I am hoping this will feel freeing and peaceful but I am not expecting it to feel blissful or anything. There is some excitement and some nervousness about starting this process

Re: Thread for Pippa
Dear Twinkle,
Your lack of expectations is super. Please put aside everything you've read or heard from others totally!
Keep the focus on what you actually experience.
What comes up for you when I say there is no separate you? Never has been. Never will be a separate individual. No separate you who has thought anything, chosen anything, or ever controlled anything?
Please relax and let this sink in and let me know everything that comes up.

Re: Thread for Pippa
Thoughts come up that say that's not true. I notice a small sense of fear that my identity is about to be taken away.
I also feel some peace and yer mainly thoughts that try and discredit that idea.. Like but I choose how I eat and tha effects how I feel to some degree. And then who is having these thoughts if not me.

OK
Lets examine thoughts,
Where do thoughts come from, where do they go?
Relax completely!
Are you the thinker of thoughts?

Re: Thread for Pippa
So do you think your thoughts?
Re: Thread for Pippa

Re: Thread for Pippa
Thoughts happen. Is there someone who decides what to think?
If you were the the thinker of thoughts you would probably have only 'happy' thoughts?

Re: Thread for Pippa
Yes, thoughts are not a problem! Just like the sun radiating in a flower. Totally and completely natural! However belief in thought is--what do you think?
Re: Thread for Pippa
No I don't appear to be thinking them. But I do believe them for some reason
Re: Thread for Pippa
Get down and real-- who believes these thoughts?
