Re: Many thanks
I'm happy to be your guide if you wish.
If you haven't already seen it, there is intro info here, our disclaimer and a short video too. Please read.
http://www.liberationunleashed.com/
A few agreements before we can begin:
1. You agree to try post at least every day.
2. I will post questions. Do not attempt to answer them with thoughts or memories or stories about your personal life dramas. Set reasoning, computing and trying to understand, aside. Instead, communicate to me the response that you “directly experience” (by “direct experience” we refer to The moment to moment felt experience, or what’s happening right now, conscious knowing.) Here is an article by Rupert Spira on “direct experience”: http://non-duality.rupertspira.com/read ... l_there_is
This is another article on direct experience http://this-is-cosmik.blogspot.ca/2012/ ... ce-de.html
IOW, do not tell me what you “think” or “believe” or heard in a talk or read about. The questions are to position you to SEE, to DISCOVER, to RECOGNISE something for yourself, without mental stories.
3. When you answer, you answer with 110% honestly,.
Long winded analytical and philosophical answers are not needed and may even hinder progress.
4. Put aside all other teachings, philosophies and such for the remainder of this journey. Really put all your effort and attention in to seeing this reality, as it is. If you have a daily and essential meditation practice, it is fine to continue that.
5. Do not expect a transfer of knowledge. We are not teachers.
Do you agree to the above?
6. Please learn to use the quote function.

Hi Lobster:
Do you agree to everything in the previous message? Please let me know.
If so, please for starters... let me know what you mean with "my 2013 New Year resolution is to "wake up".
What kind of expectations do you have about waking up?
Thanks,
Lars

Many thanks for your kind attention.Hi Lobster:
Do you agree to everything in the previous message? Please let me know.
No, 110% honesty is a lie.
What are you really asking?
As I consider myself asleep, not in a condition of awareness, I would like like to change this.If so, please for starters... let me know what you mean with "my 2013 New Year resolution is to "wake up".
None. I am wondering what your side of the agreement is? Is there something I should read? What kind of expectations do you have about waking up?
Many thanks.

Hi Lobster,
Did you have a chance to read and/or see some of the suggested material?
It is very simple, but this is not a game so i just ask you to be brutally honest. You must desire this "waking up" more than the usual New Year Resolution, since it is the most important "thing" to investigate in life....who is "lobster" really?
You say..."As I consider myself asleep, not in a condition of awareness, I would like to change this."
On the other hand you said , you have no expectations, which is great!
Underneath, however, your perhaps subconscious expectation is that i can give you something, you seemingly don't have already (why would you otherwise go through this "problem" (being asleep, not in a condition of awareness") anyway. .Please look into that closely and let me know, what is driving you to do this?!
When you wake up in the morning, what must be there first before Lobster comes into "being" (no trick question)? Who is Lobster anyway? (Your body...your mind?????)
What do you think Lobster can change if anything?
I am here to answer/guide any questions about this you may have, you may not always like the answers though, directness and honesty are not always for the faint hearted :)
Focus on the LU suggested materials, files, book, YouTube and for now drop all other distracting (spiritual) stuff.
I am looking forward to your response!
Thanks Lobster,
Lars

Yes.Hi Lobster,
Did you have a chance to read and/or see some of the suggested material?
OKIt is very simple, but this is not a game so i just ask you to be brutally honest.
What makes you say that? You must desire this "waking up" more than the usual New Year Resolution, since it is the most important "thing" to investigate in life
It is a persona.....who is "lobster" really?
I am not conscious of my subconscious, nor do I ever expect to be.You say..."As I consider myself asleep, not in a condition of awareness, I would like to change this."

Lack of unconsciousness. When you wake up in the morning, what must be there first before Lobster comes into "being" (no trick question)?
Body, mind, memories, aspirations, a whole process and variety of factors.Who is Lobster anyway? (Your body...your mind?????)
Mind, body, situation, future, name - many things. What do you think Lobster can change if anything?
What makes you believe you can guide or provide the right questions?I am here to answer/guide any questions about this you may have, you may not always like the answers though, directness and honesty are not always for the faint hearted :)

What distracting stuff? Just committed to a meditation practice a few weeks ago. Is that a distraction?
Re: Many thanks
Hi Lobster,
Thanks so much for your response!
I would like to take this in several parts starting with the most important one, which may drop all of the other stuff (or not).
You must desire this "waking up" more than the usual New Year Resolution, since it is the most important "no-thing" to investigate in life
You asked:"What makes you say that? "
"Waking up" is genuinely wanting to know who you really, really are , not that believed in fake or "persona" called "lobster" . BTW, "Persona" means mask....you never dared to look behind it thus far, while it is scary and the whole world (family, society etc) has indoctrinated you that that is really who you are and you have always taken it for granted. Are you really that, a mind and body? Have a good look...Is there a 'me', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever? how about self, is there anything that is separate from everything else?
No hurry...take your time and let me know if you find anything.
Lars

Meditation practice is fine....
Re: Many thanks
Hi Lobster
I will be your guide too.
What is not satisfying in being 'asleep'? What is it that you hope will happen when you 'wake up'?
-
There is no 'I', at all, never were, never will be.
What happens reading this?

Re: Many thanks
Hi Lars,Hi Lobster,
Are you really that, a mind and body?
My existence is not independent of them.
Yes. As the shape and focus changes, so does the 'me'.Have a good look...Is there a 'me', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Yes. There is a unique expression of 'self' that is separate from others. Was there ever? how about self, is there anything that is separate from everything else?
