What comes up is a defense of something that is there. It is very strange feelings of defending something that is called me? There is a fear of knowing that maybe others are right about a fictionlized self. So fear right now is what I am holding unto to.

It's OK, the fear itself is not to be feared. Notice how fear works perfectly as a protection mechanism. It works literally like a security system, protecting something from being found. It's doing its job perfectly. Where in body fear is being felt the most? Bring fear closer, welcome it, look at how it manifest itself, pure energy. Let it be, respect it, ask it to share its wisdom, sit with it for a while, THEN, look behind it.

By looking behind I mean checking if fear is protecting anything, or is it just a feeling/energy perfectly doing its job as a protection mechanism?
