LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
That maybe the so-called self is nothing but an illusory structure petrified inside us through a set of conditioned patters of thought-emotional response-behavior
What are you looking for at LU?
Some direct pointers/guidelines that could enable the unravelling process as an earnest process all the way through. To be lead into droppping all the veils. To feel the oneness as a major shift afterwards.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
No expectations. Just hopes for deep resonance that would allow the opening up to take place more and more until no more external guiding is needed anymore. To integrate the major shift in the "real life".
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
Some yoga practice in the youth and a deep constant attraction and interest in the enlightened masters and their teachings
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 11

Hello, I’m May. It would be a pleasure to guide you, if you're willing!
How can I call you?
Before we dive in, please watch this short video to learn how to use the quote function. You'll need it to respond clearly:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fAToDNh9hQ
When you answer, use the quote tool to respond to each question individually, not all jumbled together. This is crucial for the clarity of the process. Every question is a pointer, don’t dilute it. Face each one directly.
Once you've watched it, let me know, then we’ll begin.
Ready? :)

Hi, May! Thank you for being here. You may call me Cris.Hello, I’m May. It would be a pleasure to guide you, if you're willing!
How can I call you?
No idea about readiness, but let us begin!
Re: thresholdcrossing
Hey, Cris! Thank you for your sincere and raw submission. Let's begin :)
Can you find this “illusory structure” in your direct experience?
Not in thoughts about it. Not in memories or descriptions.
Right now, where is this "self"?
Is it in your body? Is it in a sensation? Or is it just a word attached after the fact?
What if there’s nothing obscuring this except a belief that something is obscuring it?
Take a breath.
Look around.
What is not already here, now?
What is “in the way” other than the idea that something is in the way?
Who told you awakening must feel like a “major shift”?
Isn’t that a fantasy painted by spiritual stories, gurus, and hope?
Look now, what is lacking in your current experience that would need a shift?
Do you really want truth or do you want an experience that confirms your hope?
Is that a presence you can find?
Or just a thought-loop saying, “I hope something will change”?
Drop all descriptions.
Right now:
Can you find a “you/self” that is on a journey?
Can you find a location where this “journey” is happening?
Isn’t every idea of movement or progress just a mental overlay on what is already here?
his isn’t about becoming something new. It’s about seeing what was never real, and letting it fall away.
Let’s not dance around it. Let’s see it. Right now:“That maybe the so-called self is nothing but an illusory structure petrified inside us through a set of conditioned patterns…”

Here’s the deal: What if the very idea of “veils” is the final veil?“To be led into dropping all the veils…”

Re: thresholdcrossing
Answer arising to the first question:
This structure feels as real and present as the surrounding world we perceive through the senses in the everlasting "right now".
It feels like a coherent bundle (conglomerate) of alternating contractions and openings in the body, personal little quirks - manifesting at times as thoughts that trigger various emotions, reactions in the body and behaviours - appearing and disappearing like waves in the flow of life.
This flowing structure undulates in poetic free rhythms in front of/against but not as in separte from the immutable, peaceful, unchanging background of presence that nothing can alter or diminish in essence.
No need is felt right now to answer the next question, so a little break will be taken in the waltz of life.

Re: thresholdcrossing
Just a gentle reminder 😊
Take your time with the questions I asked. There’s absolutely no rush.
When you’re ready, please use the quote tool to highlight each question and write your response below each one, all in a single post. You can use a notepad or any writing tool you prefer to organize your answers, then paste everything here when you're done.
That way, we can clearly see your replies and stay grounded in the process.
Also, don’t overthink or analyze too much. This isn’t about giving the “right” answer just report what you actually see in direct experience, not what you think should be there.
Looking forward to what shows up.

Dear May,
With me all answers spring right from the fountain of the heart. Always been this way.
Nothing overanalyzed or rationalized into.
Just a flow of feelings writing themselves on the page.

Re: thresholdcrossing
Amrit,
Your heartfelt message moved me deeply. Thank you for sharing your joy and gratitude so openly.
You’ve seen it, this open, timeless simplicity in which all experiences come and go on their own. Nothing to do, nothing to become, nothing to hold on to.
And it will be like this even when thoughts, emotions, or daily life seem noisy.
That openness is already here, welcoming everything, silence or chaos, comfort or discomfort, just the play of life unfolding, with no one at the center pulling the strings.
As you move forward, simply allow this understanding to live itself.
No need to chase any particular state.
No need to measure or compare.
Just this freshness, moment by moment.
And whenever the thought arises that “something is missing,” or “I need to do more,” you already know to look, and see that thought is just one more appearance in this boundless space.
Here at LU we often end with a few final questions, a kind of check‑point that can help deepen what’s already been seen. They’re not a test or anything like that. It’s more of an opportunity to put into words what you recognize, so it can settle even further.
Whenever you feel ready, take your time and respond honestly to these:
1- Is there a separate entity — a ‘self,’ ‘me,’ or ‘I’ — at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2 - Explain in detail what the illusion of a separate self is, when it begins and how it works, from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3 - How does it feel to see this? What’s different from before we started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4 - What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look clearly?
a) Please describe decision and give examples from your experience.
b) Please describe intention and give examples from your experience.
c) Please describe free will and give examples from your experience.
d) Please describe choice and give examples from your experience.
e) Please describe control and give examples from your experience.
5 - What makes things happen? How does it work?
6 - What are you responsible for? Give examples from your experience.
Anything to add?
Take all the time you need to look into these, and remember, this is not an exam. It’s simply an invitation to speak directly from what you see, here and now.
I’ll be here whenever you’re ready.

Re: thresholdcrossing
That’s beautiful to hear—letting responses flow straight from the heart is a powerful orientation. With me all answers spring right from the fountain of the heart. Always been this way.
Nothing overanalyzed or rationalized into.
Just a flow of feelings writing themselves on the page.
And now let’s bring that same sincerity into laser-sharp clarity.
To really pierce through illusion, we need not just heartfelt flow, but also precision. Not in the mind, but in tracking what is actually happening moment to moment. That’s what we’re pointing to with direct experience.
So when you reply:
Please still use the quote tool for each question.
Respond not just from feeling, but from what’s undeniably seen right now—before story, before emotion, before identity.
The heart can open the gate.
But only truth passes through.
Looking forward.
May.
