LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
I is a thought.
What are you looking for at LU?
“I am looking for direct guidance to clearly see through the illusion of a separate self. I have had moments of insight in the past, but they were temporary, and I would like to stabilize this realization. I seek a deeper, lasting understanding and the ability to live from this clarity in everyday life.”
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
Ответ на вопрос “What do you expect from a guided conversation”:
“I expect the guided conversation to help me clearly see through the illusion of a separate self. I want to experience this insight directly, not just intellectually understand it. I hope the guidance will help me stay focused during the process and navigate through any doubts or obstacles that may arise. Ultimately, I seek clarity, inner freedom, and a deeper understanding of who I truly am beyond thoughts and identities.”
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
Обновлённый ответ:
“I have been on a path of self-discovery for several years. My experience includes personal meditation practice, energy work, and inner inquiry. I have practiced yoga for five years and have a deep interest in understanding the nature of the mind and consciousness. Over the past three years, I have been engaged in meditation, which has helped me observe my thoughts and emotions without attachment. I have also worked with a Jungian psychologist, focusing on exploring the unconscious and inner transformation.
During this journey, I have experienced moments of awakening—brief glimpses of clarity where the illusion of a separate self dissolves. However, these experiences do not last, and I find myself ‘falling asleep’ again, returning to identification with the mind and the ego. I am seeking guidance to help stabilize this realization and go beyond these temporary states. My goal is to directly experience and embody the understanding of no-self in everyday life.”
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 10
