I have no idea why I might be posting here...except it is a beautiful space. Thank you.

Sometimes it seems in some people who are awakening there is such efforting around the language. To make sure it is accurate. This is so valuable. I have noticed that I tend to use I without much of an issue. Is that a problem? Ha ha ha ha. It does not seem like one. It seems like it is ok to see what is and be okay with what is...for example language.

At the same time, there is a great silence. Silence says it all so beautifully, yet still we talk.

Perhaps this is my question...is the talking necessary? Perhaps the silence is just fine as it is. Like love.
Like what is. If nothing needs saying, then why are we saying it at all? And that inquiry just makes me laugh...ha ha ha ha ha.

Hmm....like this, like how it is. Love loving itself. So simple. And yet, we come together in forums like this. Is it necessary? What makes it so?

Perhaps, silence like love needs nothing else?

Anyway...appreciative for the space to inquire and swim in the great pool,
Ha

Silence wants to come out and play, apparently :-)
How did you come to this site, and what interests you about it?
Much love, Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,

Yes I guess silence wants to come out and play... :) that's funny....isn't it? Does it want to play or go lie on beach?

A friend sent me this site as she has often sent me things to call out B.S. of such things. And she was taken with it so I checked it out. And then it seemed fun to post too. I don't know what interests me about it.

I like the note Ilona put on about being patient with this forum which is trying to "do" ha ha ha something new.

Wow. I have no idea what interests me. Because it is fun and joyful to play with others who live silence.

Dear Ha,
Well, it is fun to play, or why else are we here?
This is mostly a working forum, as you can see, devoted to people rather fresh out of the awakening experience turning around and helping those who would like that experience.
Home is where people who may have already had some sort of awakening come for a chat, and perhaps join in.
Sangha, as it were, and just as challenging to residual bullshit as most sanghas are.
It''s all a learning, opening, transmuting experience, who knew?
If you'd like to see through the illusion of a separate self, feel free to post in the one on one section. If you are awake, we will indeed ask questions, see if the view is more or less the same.
So, if you'd like to play, some info on how you got here in such a good humour? :-)
Much love, Elizabeth

At the same time, there is a great silence. Silence says it all so beautifully, yet still we talk.
If silence said something, it would not be silence.
It is the self who internally manufactures conclusions about silence that is doing the saying, not silence.
Silence says nothing.
Perhaps the silence is just fine as it is.
That's something people will spend as much time as they desire to contemplate or mistakenly claim to know the truth about but can never know because silence does not express itself.
If it did, it would stop being silence.
If silence says nothing of itself, then all definitions of slience are theoretical, assumptions, guesses,
conclusions derived from each person's unique and limited position within reality.

This is why ,"opinions" or "contemplations" can only be clarified (seen thru) by, " knowing". When one KNOWS, there are no more subjective experiences, simply BEING. Knowledge of a thing will give you a "degree" but not enlightenment. It is the actuation of BEING THAT ,that expands awareness and therefore, KNOWING. Within KNOWING, there are no opinions, simply TRUTH.

Silence is what's expressing itself, that's why it is silence, nothing. Do you understand? It cannot be penetrated because its really you, it's like your inability to see your own eyes with your eyes, or grab your right hand with your right hand. The only thing you can do is remove psychological bullshit that clouds your perception.

What is the space around your thoughts? Its emptiness, that's what makes it possible for something to arise. It's just like music, the silent parts between the notes are just as important as the noise. Without silence, there cannot be noise.

It's always there, but when your mind keeps going frantically, and your psychological shields are constantly up, there's no deeper connection with that fruitful nothing.

There's no point in trying to analyze this to bits with your intellect, because that's just more thoughts. Thoughts about things cannot be truth because it's always a projection of reality. You are completely on spot with your last sentence. It cannot be accurately described with words, because the person receiving the description will be trying to understand it intellectually. This is all about what's underlying all that. It is an experience. You cannot describe a taste or a color for another person, it will only create another concept of the real thing within that person.
