LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
There is no You - just experiences - hearing, seeing, smelling, touching, tasting - and thinking
What are you looking for at LU?
I want to go through the gate. I know that it is possible and it is right. I been "studying" this for the last to years and my life - the "me" - are so different since I started my journey. I don't take others opinion personal as much as I use to. Before I hated to sit by myself - now I love it - to be in stillness. Being at one with the sky, the water, animals and other human beings. I'm more at ease with myself and other people and life in general.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
That my guide can help me the last meter through the gate. Help me with my fears and doubt - not about that it is possible, but doubt that it is possible for me.
I've talked to Todd Lent and he would like to guide me :-)
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I've been seeking for 40 years. Buddhisme, tibetan healing, therapy, rebirthing etc.
The last 2 years I've been following a non-dualistic teacher in UK and I've been listening/seeing teaching on fx Youtube. Eckhart Tolle, Pernille Damore, Kim Eng, Tenzin Wangual Rinpoche, LU etc.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?
