LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this? The lack of a “me” doing anything. Everything happens, things get done, without an actual “me” doing them.
What are you looking for at LU? Help with stabilizing my experience. I have had some “breakthroughs “ but the self keeps coming back. I experience fear whenever I have these glimpses, which recoils myself back to myself, if that makes any sense.
What do you expect from a guided conversation? Honestly I’m not sure. I guess just someone to talk to with experience in these matters, and help with stabilization. Books are very helpful, but I would assume someone actually using your actual experience and questions would be better.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry? I have read several books, have down several direct approach investigations, and have had some perspective shifts, but nothing very lasting
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?
