LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
We are not what we think we are. we are not our thinking process, neither what we think we are nor what others think we are. These are the lenses we use to look at what's around us and at ourselves, and exactly this, learned (inherited) concepts are preventing us from seeing our true nature. That what we truly are , is hidden from us.

What are you looking for at LU?
I'm looking forward at finding myself in this beautiful place behind the space governed by the self biting snake. I know that liberation from the egocentric way of looking at things is the key to a deeper understanding of the life.

What do you expect from a guided conversation?
To understand where I'm stuck. I need to go beyond the rationalisation. I came to a point where I understand that all these years of spiritual search , this tons of books I've read, had feed the monkey in my head gave me ever more concepts where after my first Ayahuasca ceremony I understood that all what I know is so far from what is true ...

What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
20 + years of esoteric works. Particular heartfelt for the teachings of Sufism and concept of Fana. Micro dosing on amanita muscaria. Had ceremonies of Ayahuasca, Bufo Alvarius, San Pedro, Sassafras. Daily practicing meditation.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?

4. Put aside all other teachings, philosophies, rituals, practices, books/reading and so on for the remainder of this investigation. Really put all your effort and attention in to seeing this reality, as it is. If you have a daily meditation practice, it is fine to continue that but is not necessary for this exploration. Dear Stacy,
Thank you for you answer and your willingness to be my guide.
I must tell you from the beginning that while registering on the Gate, I also wrote an email to Dion and
he kindly accepted to be my guide. We are doing our weekly video sessions for the last month.
To be honest, I don't know what to say more besides the fact that process has began.
