How to get out of the cage

LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
How can perception be changed in terms, that the accumulation of conditioned thoughts and beliefs that I call Me is not any longer experienced as a separate entity. To stop the automatic reacting of the false self to the misinterpretation of reality. I see myself doing, reacting, thinking, judging, believing, but its not the observer either.
What are you looking for at LU?
Getting to a point where i can drop the search. Giving way to real spontenaity and allowance of life unfolding itself. Eventually becoming direct experience of life. Nothing in between. To get help that directs me through the puzzled perception of what I believe myself to be.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
That you might point out blind spots of my conceptions that hold up the veil of the false self. Directing me into clarity concerning the sticky illusions about who I really am. I need help to see clearer where I delude myself and how to drop the unnecessary.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I have been searching all my life for the direct experience of life. I felt dead and filled up with conditioned patterns of thoughts and believes. As a child already I had this strong pull and yearning for something I couldn`t name at that time. It was so strong and still is. I`ve been into the work of Gurdjieff, MBSR, Transcendental Meditation, The Work of Byron Katie, The Sufi Path, learned from OSHO, Picked some jewels from different trees. Did lots of Psychotherapie. But I am at a point where I can`t go any further. Nothing appeals any longer.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?
