Want to see the truth of 'self', once and for all.

LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
That the 'self' is nothing more then a construct of the mind, formed in childhood, grown with each labeled experience and identified with throughout life. Life when viewed through the dirty glass window of 'self' is a total lie.
What are you looking for at LU?
I am so fed up with identifying with and getting pulled into something that I know is not real, that doesn't even feel like 'me' but rather I feel at the mercy of. I feel so ready to let everything go and have felt that way for a long time, just have not known 'how' to do it.
With working with Gateless Gatecrashers I have had moments of seeing with clarity that there is no self, laughing at the absurdity of it all and what I have wasted my life believing in, feeling a profound relief that I no longer had to waste energy believing and adhering to a lie, feeling a sudden burst of wild joy in my stomach.....then Santa pulls his beard back on again and there he is again! For want of a better way of putting it.
Strangely enough for the first time ever I have had actual clarity and ease in being able to follow long held 'issues' that arise back to a source. Was never able to do that before ever and therefore never 'got anywhere'. Don't know what has happened but 'something' has changed since working with Gateless Gatecrashers and I want to take this right through now and make that 'shift' once and for all. I want to see the truth once and for all, not just glimpses.
So I am looking for help...a prod in the right direction...an explanation perhaps of something that had me confused...a technique that may help me get through that block...from people who are in/have been in the same boat.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
It is so easy to get diverted off track and complicate things unnecessarily, leading to confusion. Recently I actually managed to do that and get myself thoroughly diverted for a few days in examining and writing about how my 'self' was formed in the early years. So much so that I forgot the main point..that it doesn't actually exist! Having someone who can point out what I should be focused on and keep things on track, offer guidance and techniques on looking would be really helpful.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
Worked my way through religion, all manner of spiritual practices like the IAM teachings, Eckhart Tolle, Gary Van Warmerdam and Jed Mckenna....I have dropped it all. With the Jed Mckenna teachings I isolated myself off and wrote....and wrote...and wrote...a load of mind babble that led me no where. I now realize that I was writing down thoughts as they appeared from no where, which is just hilarious looking at it now.
I now don't follow anything in particular, do not practice meditation or follow any kind of spiritual practice or ritual whatsoever. At this point I have zero idea what is 'true' and what is 'not true', at least not in any way that really 'sticks'. That has stemmed since working on the Jed Mckenna teachings, that left me dangling in mid air with no idea how to proceed.
I have just completed reading through Gateless Gatecrashers.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?
