We use the 'I' 1000 times per day but we have no idea what it means. Let's find out, let's find out what does that stand for. Let's look at the truth and find out. Honesty and commitment to stick with this until the end is all we need

So, what does I mean for you?

I for me refers to nothing. The I is just an idea that i have about the self which changes from time to time. Automatic reactions happen and it is thought that "I" did it when in fact "I" did nothing.

its like the body does as it pleases and does exactly what it needs without any help from this "idea of self." Just like typing, i couldn't even try not to know how to type, or not know how to do things because my body is so conditioned to carrying them out perfectly

So the I is just a thought that does not do anything? How does life work without the I? Who thinks? Who feels? Who observes?

Yes, life works perfectly fine without the I. The "I" feeling/thought is present and stuck to each experience. The questions that you ask aren't so much looking for an answer as they are directing me to see what is.

So what is enlightenment then? What do you expect to see?

How did you come to seeing that 'I' is only a thought?

From over here it seems enlightenment is an illusion but a necessary one to explain in words what it means. It's just realization that there is no you to do anything.
How did you come to seeing that 'I' is only a thought?
Thats kind of my problem, I have not come to clear seeing that "I" is just a thought. I just know that I cannot exist because every moment is fresh and unique which an "I" could not predict because it changes as often as my underwear. Maybe I'm beating around the bush as someone liberated like yourself would say, but I truly have not seen "I" as a clear thought which i know is holding me back

Not to mention that I find this "I" talking to itself out loud or silently about some thought that popped into existence somewhere in-between my brain. I know that this cannot be me because some of these thoughts do not define me in the way the the "I" would like to be defined. But then again I know that nothing can define it so it must be a load of shit. so why do i still cater to it? Idk

Cool ... so you understand the concept but have not seen it. And as you see now, just understanding does not help much

Time to see the truth then. Move your hand slowly and observe ... the assumption is that you move your hand. What are the facts? Which actions / thoughts / ? can be seen? What can be seen and which are the assumptions? Observe your thoughts then ... the assumption is that you think them. Again ... what are the facts? Where do thoughts come from? Which actions / thoughts / ? can be seen?

There is definetly an intelligence controlling the movement of the hands, but idk they still feel like mine.
