I have been exploring this concept of "no-self," and I feel that this is about the time for me to inquire with someone. I would be very much grateful if you guided me into seeing things as they actually are.

I don't know exactly where I am on this path. I am still being referred to as the controller/thinker/do-er/desire-er/etc.

Let's sign the forms first.......

1. You agree to try post at least every day, even if it's just to say that you're too busy to post.

2. I will post questions. You tell me what you see :) . If pondering happens. Cool. But we are looking at direct experience here. The immediacy of what Is- and if you aren't sure how to do that. No problem. We'll look into that.

3. When you answer, answer honestly.......no need to impress me or tell me what I want to hear. I'm not interested in the the 'right' answers. I'm interested in your current perspective. There is no timeline on is. We'll work together til its clear! Exciting!

4. Put aside all other teachings, philosophies and such for the remainder of this journey. Really put all your effort and attention in to seeing this reality, as it is. If you have a daily and essential meditation practice, it is fine to continue that if you must, be if you can let it go for awhile it might help.

5. Do not expect a transfer of knowledge. We are not teachers. We are masters of the universe and supreme beings and you are not worthy of our knowledge anyway.... haha......totally kidding.....but again...this is not about gaining or losing anything- but simply seeing what is. So simple its just elegantly overlooked.

6. Please learn to use the quote function. The “how to” is given at the top of the page under announcements.
I don't use it much but you might like it. Also I recommend frequently saving your work in a word processor of some sort if you plan to type a lot which is certainly ok...but this website can timeout sometimes.

I agree with the above stated points.

I expect to begin to recognize the illusion of the assumed objective reality, myself and others included. I also expect much of my mental suffering and unnecessary expectations about myself to dissipate.

I have never took any sort of religious belief system to heart. However, I have read into various philosophies related to liberation, and the idea of this has always struck me as true.

Tell me what comes up when it is read that there is absolutely no 'you' in any way, shape or form, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be?

Nothing really.

These things occur paired with some sort of "knowing" that it is me who is doing all of it. For example, I can claim that I am going to solve mathematical problem, and then I can influence how the problem is approached and then find a solution to it. Or I can plan to go to a certain place, and then go there.

Ok. So let's look at a few things. I'm not out to prove anything rather show you so you can see for yourself. How this is accomplished is with direct experience. Thoughts that arise. Sensations. Perceptions.

So who is knowing occurring to? If you say me. Cool. Who is the me then?

And sure you can plan something. And you can go there. But where is this me that is involved located. Can you find it?

Also tone can get lost in words. But know that I'm being cordial and sincere. I'm not out to prove you wrong or anything like that. Just simply point to it. :)


Take a minute and just put all your beliefs and what makes you you aside and just look around. Hear the sounds. See what's around you. Touch the keys. Feel your butt in the seat. The pressure. Can you find a separate you experiencing this?

And then perhaps notice how your responses seem to just show up.
