I'm not sure where to start, but here we go.

Hello and Welcome!

By what name do you prefer to be called?...You know, to make this a more "personal" conversation...

Now I do have one rule...That when I ask you questions, please answer when ready,  with complete honesty, precisely, and what you "feel" is 100% true...

One more important thing to ask is, that whatever teachings, beliefs or spiritual practices, you have acquired along your journey till now; Please put them aside until this conversation is over. They are of NO use here...You can revisit them later if you wish...

Commitment is the key here... Seeing this will take a little time but if you don't perform "The Work" daily this will undoubtably take far longer than it should...

And please check in and let me know where you're at...

Okay first question...

What expectations  do you have from becoming Liberated?

And next before I go is...

What comes up when I say..."There is no separate entity "Self" in real life at all??

Hi, here are the answers:

What expectations do you have from becoming Liberated?

I will like not to have expectations, I do hope not to go back to the old ways.

What comes up when I say..."There is no separate entity "Self" in real life at all??

There's only one entity in real life, real life is perfect!

Hello Flor...My given name is Cam, you can call me that if you wish..

First off I'm glad your not looking for anything earth shaking, but releasing the mind from further unneeded suffering is a good start...

So okay let's get started...

What we're addressing here is a dysfunction of how the brain processes thought...Since childhood we've been taught, (through language, and social skills) that in fact there is someone within us that we "are", or connect with by creating and maintaining a identity, in which in reality just doesn't exist...

The mind, in addition to being an incredible processing and storage device, is also a labeling machine that labels experience as soon as perception happens.

Here's how it occurs...

Thought triggers feeling, feeling gets labeled---New trigger---Feeling gets more intense ---More labels--->Vicious feedback loop...

This is what go's on endlessly when " I " is at the centre...

Now I want you to think of a uncomfortable thought...(The more negative the better.)  Pick a couple, (You know those reoccurring ones that really bug you.)

Do you feel how the body reacts when these thoughts are revisited??

It's that physical connection that we are going to focus on and practice; Remember the body doesn't lie...When the body feels threatened it will react to protect itself...Same as if someone was to threaten to "hit" you and the reflex that follows to protect the body.... You'll notice the same reaction or "connection" with other negative thoughts / feelings like...
Anger,  frustration, sadness, depression, impatients, anxiety  etc...

Now, let's take this a step further...When you feel the body react, bring this thought up close, look...(with "laser focus") deep inside and behind this thought...

What's driving these thoughts?

Hi Cam,

Thanks so much for your time ;)

The thoughts are driven by ideas of how things "should" be.

Good Morning Flor...
The thoughts are driven by ideas of how things "should" be.

Mmmm....We're going a bit deeper than that.

Thoughts, idea's, and imagination are pretty much the same as far as mental information is concerned.
We're not so much as looking "at" thoughts per say... But the "Truth" behind it all ...

No...We are going WAY deep...What is "IT", that is supporting these thoughts?

Where are all these thoughts coming from?

What is supporting these thoughts is the attention given to them.
Where are all these thoughts coming from?
The thoughts are coming from the tool that the mind is.

Hey Flor...

Let me give you this analogy...

Consider the mind is like the Sky, and thoughts are the clouds...They come and they go, there are big "ominous" clouds and then there's little ones...kinda like chatter. They don't attach themselves to the sky they have no "physical" mass and therefore exist only in your mind...

"You" (The mind) are the sky...Everything else is just the Weather.

So where are these thoughts coming from??

Hi Cam,

I don't really know where they come from, does it matter? I guess thoughts are just there or not.

Hey, Flor...
I don't really know where they come from, does it matter? I guess thoughts are just there or not.
Not that I'm coercing an answer, but "They sort of appear and disappear from "nothing" Right?"
Notice our answers (side by side) are pretty much the same...

What I'm pointing at is, There is No-thinker...Just thoughts.

No-Liver (not the organ ;^) Just life....Is this true?

Try this...
When the body wakes in the morning,(without an alarm clock.) Does it require a "you" to do this?

Hi Cam,

Yes, thoughts appear and disappear from "nothing". And I also notice the ability to change the thoughts.

And yes there's just life.

And when the body wakes in the morning it doesn't require "me" to do it, it just happens.

Is that ability to change the thoughts coming from "nothing" or from "I"?

Thanks!

Flor

Well Flor, It appears your doing very well at this...
Is that ability to change the thoughts coming from "nothing" or from "I"?
The self intertwines itself and reinforces with thoughts...It's basically is a thought construct.

Imagination is a beautiful thing isn't it?...But it can be very seductive also, even after liberation, one needs to keep in mind the line between thoughts and reality with inquiry, Asking... "Is this true in Real life??"

With nothing behind these thoughts... Then Who is " I "?

Outside the body/brain does a "Flor" Exist??

Is the self nothing?

And Yes Imagination is a beautiful thing and I have experienced that seduction most of my life, and fell most of my life creating suffering. That ability to change thoughts that I mentioned before it's perhaps the observation of the mind seducing.
With nothing behind these thoughts... Then Who is " I "?
"I" is nothing!
Outside the body/brain does a "Flor" Exist??
"Flor"doesn't exist as the story or memories etc... But out side the body/brain there's a force that is experiencing with a body and a brain.
