LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
It is impossible to be a "self" since we are all just elements of a much bigger, common existence. Even our atoms are "borrowed" and shared with all others.
What are you looking for at LU?
Exploration into the meaning of consciousness and reality. Just discussing with others who are exploring this can be very enlightening and may spark some new thinking / understanding. There are also related topics on our existence which will invariably arise.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
Honesty, clarity, and responding to the specific topics as much as possible. Also - sharing of information that the guide may have that might be helpful in my journey, even if not specifically asked for.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I have been a life long seeker, observer, processor! I have also authored a book that touches upon these topics.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?
