LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
Self, the construct I believe myself to be is made up of beliefs. Beliefs I've learned about myself and the world around, which are inherently limiting. But what is there if I remove my beliefs, that is the question.
What are you looking for at LU?
I want to experience and live what I am without my beliefs. I want to see through my illusions, to see where am I deluding myself. I'm open to embrace life without judgement, and I want to deepen this openness.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
I hope that I'll be able to see where am I lying to myself, where am in an illusion. I want to free myself of my beliefs and live in a more open state. I'm not expecting to reach a certain state, bliss or happiness.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I've been on this path for several years now. I started with listening to Adyashanti and focusing on staying present. Focusing on the senses and on emotions stored in the body has been my focus in the recent years, but I must admit, that there used to be an underlying intent to change myself and my experience. These days I'm more open to self enquiry, exploring what is real, what is still and questioning my beliefs.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?
