LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
Hopefully it is the place where I can clarify some of my insights in the matter. I got the mental understanding that ,,me" is a mental creation,an habitual behavior. There are glimpses of the mental manufacture of it,and yet again and again there is relapsing into ,,me" way of living, though more and more lately is the the seeing of ,,me" as false.
What are you looking for at LU?
To clarify some of insights and also to discuss with like minded people which I find very hard to engage with elsewhere. Also I do hope that you guys are genuine and know the subject assuming that you already embodying the knowledge on this delicate mater.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
A direct, naked/raw truth, honest to the bones and pertinent conversation with a guide that has already pass trough and over the doubts, hopes and delusions of a seeker and has the full comprehension of the troubled mind of a seeker.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
About 30 years of intermittent, but lot more focused lately of reading, sometimes study with a pen and notebook,of J. Krishnamurti,UG . Krishnamurti, Christian Centering Meditation, Recently discovered and read three books of Jed McKenna and Tony Personswhich has turned my world up side down and reignited the search to a degree unexperienced before. Started also some self inquiry exercises as well
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 10
