LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
The majority of what we perceive in the physical world do but have inherent value the identity we build as we grow up attaches and becomes connected with to protect and sustain the “self”
What are you looking for at LU?
For a teacher to guide me through my journey. I feel I’m in need of some guidance from someone who has been in this field longer than I have. I am feeling platued and I would appreciate some help from teachers.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
I don’t expect perfect answers I would just like to have someone steer me in the right direction. I don’t want to get caught up in spiritual bypassing and I feel like I am already walking that path so I think I need a guide.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I have had some brief mystical experiences. I meditate frequently but I am still very consumed by my mind.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 9
