Hi luchana
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
What we call self , me , I , can’t be found anywhere in any shape and form. There never was a me , it was just an impression a belief.
2) Give in your own words what the illusion of separate self is and how it shows up in experience. Also, through your inquiry, what is different now?
The illusion of separate self is a mind’s disorder. The starting point of all other disorders. It is a continuous story of a person who is alive, insecure ,responsible ,threatened , powerful, admitaius, always fighting for something always lacking something always trying for something in order to find completeness . It is all this imaginary effort . Everything is around a me thought . All that is experienced is the voice that says me me
What is different now is that there is peace. there is less speaking more hearing . More sense of freedom-acceptance of what is appearing.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue?
Please report from the past few days.
It feels like resting in peace. Everything looks ok as it is. No need to change anything. No need to prove anything.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over; made you look?
When it was realized that conditioning/character is not the separate self and has nothing to do with it.
This felt like a release -acceptable. Free from this sense of responsibility
5) a) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work?
Give examples from your own recent experiences to how things happen and how things work.
a) all these are imagined and require the illusion of a separate self in order to take place. All these seams to happen to an individual but there no individual in the first place. Decision arises then a thought comes and says that “ I decided that “ after the decision has been made. Same is happening with intention, free will, choice and control. It is an impression that there is someone having them.
I don’t know what makes things happen. I don’t know how it works. In my experience things seams to happen spontaneously. It seams that every thing is happening with a flow and on time even with out a watch .
b) What are you responsible for? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how this works.
Responsibility is also an illusion of the separate self. There is no one responsible. Things happen then thought says “I did that “ and the sense of responsibility arises .
Thank you
Olga
