Hi there,
Here are the responses:
Taking responsibility for being a good person is a wonderful way to live, but even that preference she didn’t ultimately choose.’ Who could have the preference or choose?
Exactly, there is no one who ultimately has preference to choose.
The recognition of no ultimate responsibility can be a bit slippery (especially when applied to day to day life, e.g., why should responsibility be taken for a person’s kids or family if there’s no ultimate responsibility? Why not just abandon them or kill them? It’s a recognition that can be used to cause harm and spiritually bypass everyday responsibilities, that’s why I wrote that being a “good person” is a wonderful way to live. It wasn’t totally relevant but it’s just what came out typing.)
Also, taking responsibility of being a good person…would that mean there are bad people? How can anyone be good or bed if it’s just all there is?
There are no good or bad people because that’s just a label of the mind, I’ve realised this a while ago.
If any fear comes up just welcome it like a friend…. Is fear not a label on a sensation?
Yes, fear is a label of a sensation. Just like sadness or joy is a label of a sensation. I find that it can help sometimes to label the sensations as it gives the mind something to calm down for a bit.
