Yes, in relative reality that's what's happening.I am faced with the question now- if I have no control and I don’t decide anything why does it feel like this decision I have to make is very significant and could end up causing pain or upset to a lot of people?
In absolute reality, nothing at all is decided or chosen and there's not anyone there to be hurt.
Or, as I believe Shunryu said, something about there's no "you," who can die but if you step in front of a bus, you'll die. We learn to live with paradoxes like this.
I believe they covered this some in "The Matrix."
Still, the more you let go & allow, the easier this kind of thing will be. You can relax & know that ultimately everything & everyone are okay, even when they *think* they are not. This applies to everyone & everything: war, poverty, COVID, abuse, etc.
This does not mean that we stop working to change these things at the relative level. We just recognize that ultimately everything is OK. It gives us a place of peace to work from.
